Job Description

Job Title: Senior Underwriter (Technical)
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:
Risk management, underwriting, claims management and credit control.
Design and placement of insurance program for clients with approved insurers.
Preparing quotation/placement slips/cover notes for new business and renewals
Negotiating rates & terms for new and existing policies.
Audit of policy documents/endorsements to ensure that the wordings of terms and conditions are adequate and are prepared according to instructions.
To Assess risk portfolio and design seamless risk management package for the client.
Audit existing risk management procedures and prescribe solutions to deficiencies identified.
Conduct of Surveys and Preparation of Survey Reports.
Monitor debt portfolio of clients.

Qualification and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (minimum of 2nd class lower) in Social Sciences or Humanities
4 yrs cognate experience.
Not older than 32yrs.
