The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Plans to recruit ex-corps members who served during the 2009 Batches 'A','B' and 'C' service year as ad-hoc staff for the forthcoming registration exercise scheduled for january 2011. All interested ex-corps members within this category should apply immidiately on INEC's website (www.inecnig.org).
GUYS I'VE TRIED 2 LOG IN2 D WEBSITE BUT ITS NT OPENING.SO WHAT DO WE DO?
YES! there's a way 4ward.I just registered bt waiting 4 a confirmation 2 b sent in2 my mail box,activate it,then continue wth d application.
The recruitment exercise has been cancelled. I saw the message while I was still applying. And i think that's the reason you won't get the confirmation e-mail from them. I think they want to do it in a better way OR.........

@Chidianya and the house How true is it that ex-corp members of 2009 could also participate .i am aware that serving corp members are to participate .I Have not read or heard any where that ex.corp members are included. Chidianya what is your source
@ henryon,d advert was also on the punch newspaper,tuesday Nov 30th.page 57.so u can chk it. Though,a confirmation was sent 2 my box last nite containing my mail adres n pass word bt i don't knw what d problem is bcos I can't continue wth d aplicatn.has any1 aplied sucesfuly?

The application requires one's bank sort code to complete the registration.How do one get this sort code bcos my bank where i open my account is quite far from my residence.

Can one get the sort code at any branch of one's bank other than the branch where one opened his account?
Dnt no wat dey wil do wit those bank details. If u ar usin a curent a/c d middle numbers among those printed @d butom of yr chk buk is d sort code of yr branch wia u maintain yr a/c. Every br wit its sort code. If una no understand meet yr bankers. Gudluck

@those dat applied successfuly: pls, wat is dis sort code all about? Does it has 2do wit payin any money or they are just interested in applicants bank details.
Is there any way of knowing your sort code without visiting one's bank?

I decided to submit it with the bank code blank and after all, they replied that my application is complete. You can go to your bank or submit it like that. It's your choice, I've chosen mine.
@chidianya pls under application type, wat do we choose, corps member, student or others, since they said corpers of 2009, can participate. ur response is needed. pls
@ chididy,we d ex-corps membes should select others bcos INEC wants 2 make use of corps members presently serving,students 4rm selected higher institutions n ex-corps members.All total about 360,000 ad-hoc staff.
For them to ask for the sort code,it is important to them.if u know some1 in the bank were your account is domicile,u can ask them,or u google the bank name/sort code.

A confirmation was sent 2 me after registration n dat was my mail adres n pasword which I used in registring bt d fact is dat anytime I log in dat my email n pasword 2 aply,it wil always refer me 2 verify my confirmation.pls how does ur own confirmation looks like or what should I do 2 continue d aplication or is d problem 4rm my system?pls reply ASAP.tanks
@chidianya. dat link in ur mail should be the first one u click to continue, it takes u to a new page( still inec thouh). like dat of nbc. infact, u see a message telling you your account has been activated and confirmed. me, i have not finished but i have logged in and out severally. if it does not work, try using another email. all the best

yeah!I'v finaly applied.d whole problem was 4rm my set.tank u guys 4 ur responds. @ situp2standout,there are no provisions 2 fil in skil n experience.
i have finished my application 2day, but there is no ex-corp on the application. but i choose other application.
or do any body have an idea on the right process.

u need to go to your bank and ask 4 their sort code. it cost nothing they will give u.
Please note that successful applicants will be required to present their educational & other relevant credentials during the verification exercise.
The date for the verification exercise will be communicated to all successful applicants.

@sherbol2002,just upload ur passport n fill in d application form.@tobafy,all ex-corps member that hav nt previousely worked wth INEC,should select others.
