Our client is undergoing a transformation of its Association and now requires these roles to be urgently filled. Opportunities are very bright and forward looking for successful candidates. 1. Executive Secretary/CEO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategy and implementation of Board of Trustee policy
- Operational effectiveness of the institution
- Lead the change effort began by the Board of Trustees
- Provide leadership and management of entire team
- Provide transparent and credible financial accounting report to the Board
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Must be a qualified Stock broker, with strong financial accounting background
- Must have led and taken part in change situations - C-level experience in related capacity may be an advantage
- Must have strong research and consulting background (finance, Economics, and related discipline)
- Must have strong market focused understanding
- Relevant qualification in the industry is essential
- Minimum of 7 years related working experience
- Not more than 40 years
- Must have demonstrated independence and teambuilding in current or previous experience
- Familiarity with current reporting and research tools is also mandatory
2. Finance and Administration Manager
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 7years post working and qualification experience
- Must possess ACA or ACCA qualification with (a) conditions
- Must be knowledgeable about the capital market and its operations.
- Must have implemented and used contemporary financial accounting solutions.
- Knowledge and experience in IFRS reporting essential
- Must have successfully prepared annual accounts and have worked with External auditors.
- Strong administration and managerial skills to lead an institution in a change situation.
3. Research Analyst
As the name suggests, the Research Analyst conducts research on companies and markets and provides comments and advice based on his/her findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather market and competitive intelligence using internal and external research sources.
- Compile, organize and synthesize information to develop key insights at association/ industry level across various geographic markets.
- Provide business case support, analysis and recommendation for key opportunities to the business development teams.
- Prepare deliverables that include company research reports, industry trend reports, market forecasts analyses, marketing materials, proposals etc.
- Work with management team and assist them in market intelligence engagements programs
- Performs credit analyses of individual securities and analyses of the overall market
- Provide insights into investing ideas for portfolio managers based on their research.
- They analyzing the cash flows of the companies underlying the securities they are evaluating; researching economic and social trends to understand the direction of interest rates.
- Support the strategic initiatives of the Association.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A bachelor degree or higher from a reputed business university with a minimum 5 years relevant work experience in market and business research.
- Excellent database and Internet research capabilities.
- Experience of working in a research environment and the management of a portfolio of research.
- Experience in information analysis and summarization, and report writing.
- A strong proficiency in the MS Office Suites.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as superior time management, analytical skills and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team setting and enjoy multitasking.
- Excellent skills in liaising and negotiating with professional bodies and individuals.
- Must be self-driven and ability to work independently whilst being a good team player, solution orientated, proactive and motivated.
- It is essential that you are a resourceful self-starter, with a strong work ethic.
