Afritickets is an online event ticketing and marketing company established in 2011. It is head quartered in Lagos, Nigeria. We provide a simple online service which enables promoters, organisers and facilitators to effectively market their events to a wider audience and monetise them with an easy to use platform.
Job Title: Online Marketing Executive/Head of Marketing
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
Develop customer service procedure, policies, and standards for the Marketing/sales department / unit.
Acquire new clients by selling the organizations services & provide help & advice to prospective clients.
Derive insights to competitor activities & effectively counter efforts.
Co ordinate sales induction for new clients via client database maintenance.
Formulate strategy to boost sales, enhance reputation, & attain corporate objectives.
Routine sales figures & projections.
Lead and manage marketing team-wide analytics, reporting, forecasting and planning.
Devise strategy and execution for conversion funnel optimization .
Provide strategic guidance, recommendations and insights for SEM, SEO, display advertising, retargeting, social media.
Lead multi-channel campaigns to develop mainstream consumer adoption and brand awareness.
Customer acquisition.
Social media marketing strategy.
Developing branding and positioning for Afritickets.
Providing analytics, reporting and recommendations for existing and developing user acquisition channels: SEO, online advertising, social media, blog, metro area community campaigns.
Leading user acquisition projects within the product.
Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations.
Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships.
Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the organisation and the campaign.
Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs.
Writing and proofreading copy.
Liaising with designers and printers.
Organising photo shoots.
Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials.
Maintaining and updating customer databases.
Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
Sourcing and securing sponsorship.
Conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups;
Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies.
Managing budgets.
Evaluating marketing campaigns.
Monitoring competitor activity.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Should be a graduate from a reputable university with a minimum of 2nd Class upper Division in a related field.
Candidate should be conversant with web technology and online marketing.
Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the company's business, the industry, and best practices in this industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work experience of at least one-two years in related position.
