But they shud av notified d shortlisted candidates by nw. Or do u guys think it's an automatic invitation for everyone who applied?

@teezers i think u r mixing up both vacancies as cadets n ratings is different 4rm d other positions. D test 4 cadet n ratings comes up on d 17th while d test 4 other positions comes up on d 23rd nxt 2wks @ same venues. Did u apply 4 both? @ lolley u just said my thoughts outloud now, i guess there wont b any form notification 4 shortlisted cands. It should an auto. invite 4 all who applied.

I think d test is just a selection procedure for all of us that applied irrespective of the invite.

@all pls do check yestaday's guardian news paper. Every info nided as regards to d test is dia pages 88 and 89

@teezer, d application u did was different frm d seafarers application which is also part of nimasa. I postd d 2 jobs. Seafarers is divided in2 cadets and ratings and is basically for science students. I applied as a rating in seafarers and as enforcement officer in nimasa

@Musco d advert reads dat all those dat applied should come 4 test for the purpose of selection. No names wia short listed. There two categories. The 1st reads thus:
candidates who aplied 4 d ff positions chif marin engr, ast chif marine engr, principal engr, marine engr, prin marine oficer, s.marine ofica, legal oficas, head,liason ofice, admin oficers chif naval arch. Ast c.naval ofica, p master, senior masta radiographer, phamacist medical ofica, health rec. Ofica, envir lad tech, chemist, envir microbio, lab scientist, ast direct i.t, stat ofica, enforcment ofica, medic lab scien, nursin oficas are hereby invitd for an asesment test 4 purpose of selectn on 23rd saturday june 2012 by 8a.m promp. Bring 4pasport, orig cert pencil eraser n biro. Venue lagos-law sch victoria island, other venues r bayelsa, abuja, delta enuga.
2nd category Those who aplied for CADETS RATINGS unda NSDP. Test wil cova engl. Maths n general knw for dis category. Date is 17th june by 8a.m at same venues. Come wit 4pasport, orig cert n photocopies. Pencil eraser n biro. U r 2 chose d centr nearest 2u
