@all: It's a gud thing dey r inviting everyone who applied but come to think of it, hw do u guys think dey will identify those who actually applied? Dont u think those who did not apply could also claim dey did? @geffizzy: Tanx so much for d info!

I didn't apply for the jobs.....would I be allowed to the test....

I dont think everyone would be allowed to write this exam! Its most likely they have the list of all invited applicants hence some got the acknowledgement sms. Probably thats their own style of invite. If everyone is allowed to write that means there would be chaos and shortage of exam script considering the large volume of population that will come for the exam both those that applied and those that didnt. The question is this! How would they differentiate thos that applied from those that didnt? Apparently some of the persons that got the acknowledgement sms are the legitimate candidate for this exam. And the rest of us are going for gatecrashing! God help us!

Musco i'm still at loss why RENER CONSULT sent acknowledgemt sms to some and ignored others. Whats the reason behind this? This is my worry.

Either notified tru sms or not, the invite has been publicised for all, both those who got d sms and those who didn't. My strong belief is that the test will be a determining factor to select their candidate following which an interview(I suppose) will be conducted. This test I'M SURE is a selection procedure for their candidate either applied, sms or not. It's a good one anyway. We shall all get there!

Kooleefem! ........ I agree! everyone will write the test. But my question is still begging for answer. what is the rational behind the acknowledgement test RENER sent to some peeps? And some even got the test message twice. Sorry if i'm being inquisitive! I need to be cleared. Lol. Thanks.

@vprince: rmba dis recruitment was contracted to an external agency after d submission, d agency in d process might observe the population of applicants and dcost of sending acknowledgement msg to all, that was y it adopt d use of print media to publicly notify all applicants to a qualifying test which will determine our being selected for the various required position. (My opinion)

@everyone...to add to what everyone have been saying...I want to tell you that, someone from a confirm source (FCC, abuja) told me that if u apply for the positions, whether u receive an acknowlegdment txt or not, you ave been inited for the test...the newspaper publication serves as an IV for those dat applied...its for only those that jasi...u understand what I mean...so if you knw u applied for any of d positions...Go for the test in ur area....GOODLUCK to us all

About the test format, I heard it from somewhere it will be maths, eng, logical reasoning.. Then 4 science line maybe physics will be there. Am not too sure ooh but I will board my perimeter on the test format. If anybody have the proper test format, pls make him/her inform us ooh.

To add my voice on d issue of those that got notified or not, i dnt think not getting an acknowledgement text or whatever shd serve as a deterrence 2 those who shd write or not, if u know u actually applied then go write ur test oh..,and i would also wnt 2 ask if anybody printed out his/her applicatn page form 4 d cadets n ratings position cos i did, so if u did then dat on its own shd back up ur claim of actually applying. As 4 d other positions i dnt knw abt dat cos i didnt apply 4 any of those. So lets do d right thing n avoid cutting any corners, if u applied go write ur test, period...! As 4 d Ratings question, i guess it has 2 do with d age of applicants as was specified other than that na guess o, and maybe musco is somehow right sha, ratings shd be a term 4 old sea pirates....no be me talk am o, so if u cnt handle AK47 then dnt bother or maybe dem fit consider say mk u use Double B...
