Thats good i also got union bank invite for medicals bt i feel there is more prospect in Nigeria breweries than Union bank..And do u knw ow much is basic salary in union presently though anyways i hope this second stage of NB should not be difficult tho ....Quote:

@shaquizy. Thats the take home per month after all deductions. There are other perks like leave allowance, housing, medical coverage for self and family etc. These are things I have gathered online. Until the offer comes.

@Musco, I will do my medicals on Saturday. @Collinsy, I dont have the specific take home pay for nb. Their pay should not be significantly higher than what union is offering, but manufacturing companies are better than banks if you consider everything. I see myself in Union Bank though. Something just tells me that is where I should be.
NB makes much sense pass 158K by far. Infact, when u come put alawi (housing, medicals, phone, etc), u go fear fear o. After oil companies (IOCs o, nt jst any oil company) dey r one of d tops o.Put in ur best...it's really really worth it.

How did the function based test go on saturday?
NB's take home pay per month after all has been subtractd for trainee engineer/trainee brewer is around 135-140k. But dont despair yet! You would be given accomodation (good one, at ibadan - i think) and after confirmation (which is 1yr) it increases quite well, and what i am sure of is after confirmation u are given ur car grant (totally free) of 1 - 1.5million. But u gats buy car o if u collect am..lol.

I just feel the thread has been abandoned by the hopefuls. This recruitment is being dragged unnecessarily. The function test was really tough for brewers, and there is no news from them after almost two weeks.

@shaquizy. The news is that some of us who did medicals will be joining a third batch because the maximum number that the ts can hold at a time is 120. This is not an official statement from union bank, but its info we got from those in ts now. Its waiting things. These nb people seem to have forgotten us. The test for trainee brewers was something out of this world. Na die. All the materials I got online were useless. I just used idea to answer the ones that were 'ideaable' and I gambled the rest. I pray this recruitment ends and I know my fate with nb before union calls me for training, but I know God will do the best for us.
@234GT: I concur with you on the nature of the trainee brewer test. The materials I got as well were all equally useless as the test was difficult. I look upto God for His divine favour.
@Donchinchin, if these people are serious, they should conclude this stuff this month now. If man pass/fail, tell am make him know. I tire o.

No news yet. Before 22nd of this month sha, I believe we should know where we are going, at least, that will be a month after the test.

@shaquizzy, I tire for them jare. I have stopped preparing for the interview since. If they mistakenly remember us, I will use fire bridgade approach to prepare for it.
