NDIC -INTERVIEW AND PAY(What to expect and get?)

I was at the NDIC office this evening but was told at the gate by the security guard that the HR people directed them to tell anybody making inquiry regarding appointment letters to check his mail.
It will be good if u could listen to T-cann's plea above and help him check if his name is on the list.God bless u as u assist in this regard.

I went to Redstar Express office in Lagos today.Beleive me,if you dont know an insider there dont bother to go there.I couldnt get anything.They told me to ask NDIC for the tracking number of their dispatch before they can confirm if my letter is with them or not.How possible is it for NDIC to release tracking numbers,what an impossibility!!!The lady even said infomatn abt NDIC dispatch letters was not really made known to the staffs at Redstar.Interesting.

I was part of the NDIC initial recruitment exercise up to interview level and I took the supplementary test. Today I received a letter containing the following text:

LETTER OF PROVISIONAL OFFER OF APPOINTMENT
With reference to your recent interview for employment, we are pleased to offer you pensionable appointment with the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation as an Management Assistant II with effect from 16th August, 2010 subject to the following terms and conditions:-
I) police Fingerprint Clearance;
ii) Satisfactory Reference: At least two (2) Referees who should be persons of reputable status and high integrity as well as a Confidential Report from Former employer(s) where applicable;
iii) Acceptable Medical Report: You are required to undergo a medical examination;
iv) Salary: You will be placed on the Corporation's salary scale Diss 9 II, Step 1;
v) Terms and Conditions of Employment: The terms and Conditions in this letter as well as the Corporation's Conditions of Service, [the details of which will be made available to you by the undersigned] will govern your employment with the Corporation; and
vi) v) Satisfactory verification of all tendered credentials and any other information.

vii) Failure to satisfy any of the above conditions may result in summary withdrawal of the offer.

viii) You will serve a one year probation after which your appointment may be confirmed subject to satisfactory performance. The appointment may be terminated upon one month's notice in writing by either party or the payment of a month's salary in lieu thereof except in the case of dismissal, when a notice. or salary in lieu of notice will not apply.

ix) You should please signify your acceptance of the terms of this offer of employment by signing the enclosed duplicate copy of this letter and returning same to the undersigned. Please, also include the names and addresses of your referees.

x) If we do not hear from you within one (1) month from the date of this letter, the offer will be regarded as having lapsed.

xi) On assumption of duty, you should report to the Head, Human Resources Department, NDIC., Plot 447/448 Constitution Avenue, Central Business District, P. M. B. 284, Garki - Abuja to collect your letter of introduction to the Hospital and to the Police for thumb print impression.

Please I need the support of people in Abuja
During the interview,we were made to fill a form with residential address and postal address, I most likely filled my permanent home address in Osun state as my permanent residential address.
The issue is not in Redstar getting the location but Redstar's willingness to go to some areas where they don't have an office and areas other than Lagos.
If at least know weda my name is on the list, i'll be able to take it up from there.

I got my letter yesterday at Ketu area, Lagos. Red Star Express brought it to my apartment. It was a surprise because I did not receive any letter via post through out the recruitment process(1st and 2nd tests and interview).

Best wishes to my friends who are still waiting to receive their letters.
