@tcann theres really nothing to tell..i applied for DM because at my current job I am an Asst manager and I graduated from law school in 2002. the thing is i earn only 40k at my current job with almost nil allowances and every few months we are threatened with closure, and very few career prospects. I really need a better paying job to support the family was advised to accept the MA and complain for an upgrade once in the system..

By all standards,the perks attached to the MA position is better going by your last post!

Sorry, the interview part: since you ve decided to be humble enuf to accept the MA position, I'll suggest you ignore the interview, now this advice is based on the limited info that I ve on your matter, for instance, I don't know what position they are inviting you for as per this interview, is it still the DM?
Another reason why I feel you shd just stay with their MA is that the chances at this 2nd leg will be highly competitive, I guess they want to use the successful ones to plug the positions which are not accepted by the 1st batch people.
Also, if you can find out that your earlier acceptance will not be jeopadized by attending this 2nd interview, even if you re now offered your original DM, then why not if not!
Finally, the decision is up for your making, ask God to direct you aright!
Don't forget, whatever you are getting curently in your job is likely to be surpassed by even that MA position offered you, so it all depends on 'how assertive you want to go or how accepting of what they offer you', you want things to be.

Hello house just got an offer from FIRS so what do u think? FIRS or NDIC? They are both entry level.
@t cann, I have decided not to go for the interview,as it may jeopardise my earlier acceptance. I trust God will make all things beautiful in His time. I have also decided not to take FIRS, i know it may have a higher profile but I feel ndic may be more woman friendly. Thanks again tcann
In my opinion i would rather u g and at that point find out from the venue.Both ways you loose nothing except your transport fare and time.

Am convinced my name is on the master list, and have not gotten my letter up to now! However I saw the courier in my vicinity that week. I wonder wher my letter got stuck. I have tried to confirm my name on the list then act but to no avail. Although this sounds stupid but I believe I will resume too.

The last may not have been heard of the NDIC palava. FITC website has a list of 203 candidates interviewed last week for their 2010 employment. Lets hope some more members of the house would make it through. Cheers and keep the faith!

August 16 is here Finally. See you all in Abuja. By the way, I was in a Zonal Office during the week and was told that some undelivered letters are with them. In case you have not recieved your letter, please check at your nearest NDIC office. It might be lying there

It hard to tell abt anybody's job role for now, they re very silent b it, what they are using to get down our details is basically your grade- MA1, MA2, AM etc, I don't even know those who are in for fin analyst except for some friends that I jow their job roles personally.

House, i just want to confirm whether any body is with the info of the latest conducted NDIC interview. Pls iam one of those that were fortunate to be invited again for another test and subsequent interview after series of test b4, pls house put us in prayers so that we can get this job. The labour market is getting more saturated and congested evry day leaving us to wait for our younger ones in skul witot job. May Allah help us all Ameen. And i strongly believed that it shall be well with us all, is jst a matter of time, let us jst continue to pray and put our trust in God. Am sure very soon things wuld work well to our side.

Pls keep the belief and hope up and burning, like I ve said earlier last week, if the job is yours, its yours!
Pls let me quickly say somethings here for the sake of the house generally and those that have been calling me for info.
1. NDIC is a very open and transparent corp as far as my 1 week + of been a staff has shown(can't go into details cos of time)
2. Lagosmayor, myself and my other colleagues who are members of naijahotjobs will try our hardest best to be near to the house, tho I will want you to appreciate the sheer load of the training and induction program we are undergoing here, we will still be here till another 2wks. So pls understand that most members may not be able to post often again due to the weight of the induction program and need to study after close of work.
3. I for one have promised b4 now and am repeating it again that if I come across any info that will calm you and make you more informed, i'll be the 1st to post it for you.
4. The whole process is rigorous and closure is evening like every job, to make things not too smooth, internet access is not available to most of my colleagues and sometimes to myself.
So pls be understanding, praying and stay calm; the whole HR is occupied with our documentation exercise.so let's be hopeful, but be rest assured tha the corporation is a transparent one.
