NDIC -INTERVIEW AND PAY(What to expect and get?)

Please help does any body got a letter on HR practioner because i applied that post but till date i have
not receive any letter.

...am not happy how the whole thing is turning out, alade and onmy have helped greatly in getting me a contact to call in Abuja NDIC, to confirm weda my name is on the list or not.
I did call but the man told me that only two pple were picked from Osun and my name was not there. That was Thursday, last week.
So I accepted my fate and took consolation in the fact that I at least ve a job am on presently.
But to my surprise, I received a call from one man today, saying he's calling from NDIC and that my letter returned undelivered back to NDIC and that I shd come and pick it up,
Friends, you can't imagine the mixed feelings that populated my emotions at that moment this morning when that call came in, I didn't know what to feel or how to feel it.
My brother working in Abuja has hence picked it for me and I was offered MA 1.

Am really not happy cos some of my notable friends in this thread have not gotten theirs; but for the postings of these guys, this thread would have died a long time, most of them started posting replies the same day I introduced this thread ( more than a year ago) and sustained their interest and search for info consistently till this period for the benefit of all!
Really, I don't know what to say, but pls like Fusco said recently, don't let's give up until its all over!
I had given up, I had seen my friends letters and didn't get mine,but they kept encouraging me, I had taken my mind off it until the call this morning.So who knows where the letter is stuck in your case? If God says this job is yours, its def yours and you can't miss it!

Congratulations T-Cann......You really deserve it. I have a somewhat similar experience with you. I also called a man in NDIC and helped checked my name. The man said my name is not in the list and that only two people were chosing from my state. I just hope mine also have similar juicy ending with that of yours. Can you advise us he number that called you that your letter returned undelivered...

It would have been so sad to know that you didn't get in, considering your interest in NDIC; in addition to your starting and contributing so much to this thread. Am sure God Almighty knew He had to quickly do something more than the ordinary about your case - which is now obvious!

Big ups to T-Can & co. Some of us have given up on NDIC. I'm however happy that T-Can's tenacity and doggedness have paid off in the end. I pray for more of such miracles in the days to come. Who knows? When gOD SAYS yes, no man can say NO!

I just want to appreciate you all in the house for the outpour of love and felicitations for my miracle, sure we all fought hard, endured long, but I just only wish for more people to come into the train!

Plead to know weda your letter was dispatched or weda it didn't return undelivered to Abuja. But up think they will naturally call if it returned undelivered like my case.

I want to believe that AM grade is the MA 1 curently been sent out, check NDIC old website, you will understand more the diff grades, like I saw it when I was perusing their old and new websites, MA1(@old website)=AM(@new website) maybe they have returned to the old system.

I will rather advice you stay at CBN, it has more corporate visibility than CBN and either way, in the long run, you have everything to benefit if you stay within its system for some yrs, as any differentials in pay will be evened out over time.

fill name, sign and date the duplicate copy, then submit @ HR dept in ABUJA before 7th August.

Then return to Constitution avenue on Mon, 16th August for further information on............

The Police Fingerprint and medical fitness test.

Though I met someone who asked me to do these tests in Lagos b4 returning to ABUJA.

They will also contact your present employer later.

It is important one resigns appropriately as well.

As regards the reference: I do not know whether one is to come with a sealed confidential report or perhaps they will contact them later.

Pls anyone with clearer details should help find out.

@ T cann, CBN paid 28day at 22500 in Zone A n 18750 in Zone B by day. And their upfront is 1m every yr for entry level.

@ T cann. Zone A is abj, lag n ph all ode are zone b. If pay dsame amt par day if u wen for course n duty tour. Then car, house loan available. Pls tel me abt NDIC

What do you mean by "28day at 22500 by day" it kinda not clear.
Also, do you mean they pay the infront after training?
When do training starts for entry lvl and when does it end?
What is paid throughout the training period?
Any other info?

My brova, as per NDIC, I wish I have something to tell you, but you wouldn't believe it, for more than 1 year we have been chasing after that info-'pay' at NDIC without much success, check out the title of the thread! Lol!
I wish people can come out now and inform us, I think this house has earned it and deserve to be informed. If you are reading this thread and you have any info to contribute regarding NDIC pay, pls do not hesitate to; help a broda make an informed decision! Thank you.

@ T-cann, 28 days is d money paid in lieu of hotel bill for new postin/ transfer u to new branch. CBN training last for only a wk.

@T-cann, d upfront is d money paid every yr in lieu of accomodatn. I can't give more dat dis info bcox we're not allow to disclosed

Goodc news for all who did interview for Deputy Managers,Managers and Senior Manager.I was reliably informed that NDIC is yet to call only MA1 ,MA11 and AMs were called at the moment.We should therefore continue to pray and keep our fingers across

congrats t-cann, you deserve it. When i went to submit my acceptance i was told to come with passport pictures and our original documents (common sense i guess) for induction.
Its been hard to get info of NDIC pay cus they arent allowed to disclose. However my contacts at CBN say that NDIC allowances are at par if not better than CBN. I also know that because banks poached some of their good staff they have done 2 increments in the last two years. I know none of us will have cause to complain.
@diepreye stay in cbn, its a good place to build a career and as someone said it has more visibility than cbn.

Flowing from DareSare's question, I wish to further ask if anyone has recieved letters in lieu of Deputy Manager, Magare or Senior Manager in any of the departments of NDIC? Could it therefore mean they really had no need for those cadre of people even as they were similarly interviewd as others were? Someone is this community should please try and shed light on these. Pls I need ur advise I applied and was interviewed in the DM cadre, subsequentely I wrote the last screening test. I have since received and accepted employment as MA. I received a text yesterday that I had been invited for interview. I am puzzled since I have already accepted should I still go for the interview. I am wondering if this may be a way of ensuring I am employed as DM that I originally applied for.
Pls those of you with contacts in ndic should help me enquire and advise do I go for this new interview or disregard it?

@don just resume on the said date with your credentials and passport pics. They are the ones that will tell you where to do your medicals when you resume.

Last night I recieved a text message from FITC, informing me that I had been shortlisted for an interview with NDIC which will take be conducted from 5-7 of August 2010, and that the date,time and venue will be sent to me on August 3.I sat for the suplimentary test on june 26, I applied for the post of Bank examiner, management assitant level.I have a degree in Accounting. Can anyone please help me out with the kind of questions I should expect,since alot of you guys have gone through the process, and even obtained appointment letters.Thanks and God Bless.

Why now? DM and MA is far inbtw, why will accept MA? Obviously for you to have applied for a DM's position, you have some yrs exp below your belt and most likely coupled with some advanced qualificatns.
So I kinda don't get it, MA and DM, what happened, tell the full gist.

Prep well for NDIC ques (use the website FAQs&news page to revise) and also technical ques relating to what you applied for, current affairs in the fin services sector and generally, what else... Pray to God to grant you favour in the sight of the panelists and ability to ans everything they ask!
But far more than anything, pray that the whole process favours you to the last, as if I will tell you the truth, the process is more than the test or interview alone, many will bear me witness here, just pray that you may not miss it if God truly has earmark the offer for you!
