NDIC -INTERVIEW AND PAY(What to expect and get?)

Congaratulations to all those that are successful.To the rest of all that are yet to receive letter from all indications the game is over I went to NDIC this morning and was told that whoever did not receive his letter up to this moment should consider himself not successfull.I wounder how NDIC did the exercise six of course did interview for Manager Media Relations and i had been in contact with all none among us was picked and the vacancy had been filled,how only NDIC can explain and my friend was among the only two did interview for Senior Manager Media Relations none receive letter up to now.May God help us.

I was at the NDIC office this evening but was told at the gate by the security guard that the HR people directed them to tell anybody making inquiry regarding appointment letters to check his mail.
It will be good if u could listen to T-cann's plea above and help him check if his name is on the list.God bless u as u assist in this regard.

I went to Redstar Express office in Lagos today.Beleive me,if you dont know an insider there dont bother to go there.I couldnt get anything.They told me to ask NDIC for the tracking number of their dispatch before they can confirm if my letter is with them or not.How possible is it for NDIC to release tracking numbers,what an impossibility!!!The lady even said infomatn abt NDIC dispatch letters was not really made known to the staffs at Redstar.Interesting.

I was part of the NDIC initial recruitment exercise up to interview level and I took the supplementary test. Today I received a letter containing the following text:

With reference to your recent interview for employment, we are pleased to offer you pensionable appointment with the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation as an Management Assistant II with effect from 16th August, 2010 subject to the following terms and conditions:-
I) police Fingerprint Clearance;
ii) Satisfactory Reference: At least two (2) Referees who should be persons of reputable status and high integrity as well as a Confidential Report from Former employer(s) where applicable;

vii) Failure to satisfy any of the above conditions may result in summary withdrawal of the offer.

viii) You will serve a one year probation after which your appointment may be confirmed subject to satisfactory performance. The appointment may be terminated upon one month's notice in writing by either party or the payment of a month's salary in lieu thereof except in the case of dismissal, when a notice. or salary in lieu of notice will not apply.

ix) You should please signify your acceptance of the terms of this offer of employment by signing the enclosed duplicate copy of this letter and returning same to the undersigned. Please, also include the names and addresses of your referees.

x) If we do not hear from you within one (1) month from the date of this letter, the offer will be regarded as having lapsed.

xi) On assumption of duty, you should report to the Head, Human Resources Department, NDIC., Plot 447/448 Constitution Avenue, Central Business District, P. M. B. 284, Garki - Abuja to collect your letter of introduction to the Hospital and to the Police for thumb print impression.

Please I need the support of people in Abuja
During the interview,we were made to fill a form with residential address and postal address, I most likely filled my permanent home address in Osun state as my permanent residential address.
The issue is not in Redstar getting the location but Redstar's willingness to go to some areas where they don't have an office and areas other than Lagos.
If at least know weda my name is on the list, i'll be able to take it up from there.

I got my letter yesterday at Ketu area, Lagos. Red Star Express brought it to my apartment. It was a surprise because I did not receive any letter via post through out the recruitment process(1st and 2nd tests and interview).

Best wishes to my friends who are still waiting to receive their letters.

Dont loose hope. I got mine yesterday. I was on my way (coming back 4rm work) wen I was called n informed dat I av a mail at home. I was recruited as IT, MA level (may d name of Lord b praised cos he wil nt leave my soul in hell neither will he suffer me to c corruption)

@chidonlachichi- I have no one in NDIC, I was offered the job base on the last interview, (pls read my letter). Just pray and work hard to utilize your second chance if you cannot see your letter by the end of the distribution period, I wish you the best of luck. mind u, I just got a text that I scored only 25% in the just concluded NDIC test!!!

u are a very lucky person.God loves you.Thats y u scaled through the first stage. otherwise do u think the 25% could have helped u?
I got a text from fitc saying that I scored 65%.But I dont want to rely on this.
I tot the first stge could have helped me.
I am worried because someone in NDIC told me that those invited for the frsh test are those that didnt mke it through the first stage but the counter is you were invited for the fresh test and u were sent an appointment letter.
Pls advise.Should I believe the NDIC guy or not cos your sitution just counterd what he said.

Please house as anyone been given letter for MA media realtions I applied for that possition and all of us that did the interview at Abuja has not been called,we were just 11 that did the interview at Chelsea Hotel Abuja,please house comment on this...to those who has gotten thier letter I want to say a big CONGRATULATIONS,and I want to tell others waiting for thier letters that they should not losse hope.

anyone receive letter for MA 1 or 2 for Legal position????? just saw in the newspaper yesterday that Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria bill has been signed into Law by the president and so they may soon begin operations and start recruitment process. Well I guess there's hope there if NDIC doesn't work out.

hello house, it has nt been an easy wait bt it is not too late, cz letters r still bein dispatched. i was invited for d recent screenin test bt refused to go for it afta all da stress of gettin to d interview level and also an offer frm FIRS. Bt ystday i got ma NDIC offer letter ystday.The courier guy complaind of findin it really hard locatin my house which can also be a delay for some of u. So just kip da faith. Wishin d house d very best.

Pls add your state of origin too.
We are just using this info to track the frequency of the offer per those criteria and also to know one's chances.
For instance, if I know that say like 4-5 people have collected letter from Kwara state, that may mean that the chances of any other kwaran after those 5 pple is slim.

@ T-cann, thanks a lot . I went to NDIC office again this afternoon . And this time around, I was able to go in. I was told that only two people from Osun State have been offered employment for now. Probably, more candidates from the state will be employed in subsequent recruitment.

I thank God for everything even though my name is not on the list yet.

I'm saying this because of my experience with CBN, my invitation letter for the test arrived a week after the test (of which many people also complained) whereas I was at a party that Saturday eating rice. Am just using kwara state as an hypothetical example of my point in that post, am not saying that 4 kwarans have been picked o!! Pls don't misunderstand my point.

Lawal, T-cann and All much as i would love to do that i presently work in a bankand we are understaffed here and had to take excuse to go there on behalf of myself and my other colleagues in the office the very day i went to NDIC office.Made the suggestion of going there to check bcos i felt it was expedient in other tobe sure your name is/is'nt on the list as the case may be.This is especially true since the DEADLINE for acceptance is 7th of august.I av missed such an opportunity b4 because i was out of reach and i know how i felt.

guys, i know how we all feel about this matter.... i wnt to advise that we shldnt panik or worry ourselves too mch over it. u know wt? wt will be wil be.... if God say na ur job, then na ur job.... but if He says its not ur way... then there is no contact and connections u make abt it dat will work out.... let us not creat scenes out of this NDIC issue so much dat 419's will start to take cheapish advantage of us.... remember he makes everything beautiful in His own time, and the fall of a man is not d end of the world... so rise up and make further attemps else where if u dont get any letter.... for the sucessful ones, i say a very big congratulations to you and when u get to the top ...remember how many people u competed 2geda for d same job and u were d fortunate one among them all. all d best house.
