@sidolala and the rest of of the house,i'd like to tender an apology.....i've been having a really hard,but that is no excuse to vent my anger on this thread.i just found out that the is going to be another text this weekend.....i just lost it.its not FITC fault.its the crop of useless set of graduates and the wards that are to blame......na my credit wey i waste na him dey pain me........i'm going to send a damning publication to the all the dailies tomorrow.

I am as always reading every single post dropped here.
Pls let us all try to calm our frayed nerves.
All that's happening is never the fault of anyone, its solely NDIC mgt's insensitivity.
We are all one here, we ve come a long way, our frustrations are fully justified, we ve been treated in the most unpalatable manner, but if our strenght faileth in days of adversity, our strenght will be indeed weak....
Whatever they want to do, will know the outcomes b4 Sept.
But for as many that know the means to let the public know what is going on, try to get the word out on the treatment we are enduring in the hands of the mgt of NDIC,
I for one, am writing the senate committee on fed civil service and will copy the office of the fed civil service commission at the presidency next week thru dhl, and also this NTA job programme, pls for all those who can support in this publicity thru my channels and other channels should attempt, we don't have anything to loose, we can't keep fighting ourselves here when we can direct our energies to combating the indifferent attitude of NDIC to us, it is one year,5 mths and still counting!
Pls let's get the word out, even if we that genuinely passed the initial 2 tests and did the interview fail to make their list which now lacks intergrity, we will be at least know we did the right thing by getting the people in the proper positions to know what's going on. I mean 1 year plus.
Though I have a job now, that pays similarly what NDIC pays an MA,am still in this struggle till the very end and if offered an appointment, I will come in and see it as a national appointment opportunity to contribute my own little quota to national devt.

RECENT UPDATE........
In respect of the information I posted last weekend that appointment letters will probably be distributed this week for the first batch candidates, I visited the HR dept of NDIC hqtrs ystday & found out frm some close confidant that they are still typng & printng the letters as at ystday secrectly & even some Staff of the corporation are not aware. So, lets continue to keep all fingers crossed & u guys should cool down your nerves as they dont intend to delay our own to come out together with that supplimentary exersise.
As for candidates that participated in the supplimentary exercise,FITC has sent the result of the test to NDIC, the total number that participated is 379(abj & lag). NDIC will meet very soon & determine the cutoff marks for each state (based on the performance of the individual state), before calling u guys for interview. So, I wonder what nonsence they(FITC) are posting on their websites since last week

@ poster, it depends on the way you look at it. I dont realy think you have communicated any sin and as the saying ususally goes heaven help those who help themselves. The fact that you rest your hope with God doesnt mean that you should not make any moves. By making that move God can assist you and you wil get His favour. Remember He will not come down from heaven to assist you. He wil only send somebody to it. Unless, you think it is your move that that can assist you, then I dont think you have commited any sin. I have just confirmed that the letters being distributed is invitation for interview to those who did the recent test
Am not sure of what you re talking about, infact I don't know what to believe again.
But how come dispatch of IV for interview is NDIC hqrts' duty, I think the consultant, FITC normally does that, if am right.
Now, what's the clandestine way they are going about typing IV letters, it just doesn't sum up!

@ T-cann, well spoken, no way in the world NDIC will be typing up Invites for interview, thats what they PAY FITC for, unless they had a falling out, which is highly unlikely as they (NDIC) together with CBN set-up FITC in the first place.

What ever they are typing is therefore, and cannot be invites for interview, as you may have noticed on the FITC site that they are to "notify candidates at a later date in july...." not 'NDIC to notify candidates at a later date......'.

Like fusco said, the NDIC hqr has finished typing the letters ready for dispatch, he said while the process was ongoing, even some staff of NDIC were not aware. From my analysis, they will accord that high level of secrecy to app letters, not IVs, why because the org has gone thru a lot of pressures from lobbyists and that has affected their corporate image generally, so maybe they just want to get it out with minimal disruptions&stampeding.
God have mercy.

@ NDIC anything is possible and logic may not be applicable at all time..who says they cant type IVs on their own.what happens if they do...What you guys are saying is what ought to be and not necessarily what it is.As much as I would want it to be the appointment letters that is being typed I am skeptical about the whole process.
@ Fusco, Have you seen the list of late and can you confirm if it is still based on the average performance of the 1st n 2nd test and the interview and also that each state has 4 candidates?....
FINALLY LETTER ARE OUT.........
A friend of mine just showed me his appointment letter which he collected from his uncle at the NDIC hqtrs today. He informed me that his uncle who is a mgt staff in NDIC collected the letter on his behalf but the rest of the letters has been sent to a courier service company for dispatching.And what he said is true bcos the letter I saw with him is sealed in a brown envelope with his name & adress typed at the back of the envelope. I saw the letter live.... Ohh thank GOD

No doubt Fusco has been by far one of the suppliers of most authentic info on this thread. But even according to him, he did not see the content of the letter he only saw the back page and he has not even collected his own so who knows the story might still change.
Sincerely, I want the story to be so. And the drama can only end well if ones name is included in the list. That is the only thing that can turn the travails of the unwanted drama for 1.5yrs into adventure. Ultimately, that is what I crave for.
Unless some on this thread actually cfm that he/she has collected his/letter then fingers have to remain crossed and lips remain sealed.

I think I did'nt put it clear initially when I said the letter is sealed, I just try to explain the point that the letters are ready for dispatchind. But ofcourse I saw & read the contents of the letter live. They are two copies. the first one is the complete letter for the candidate while the second one has in its second page where a candaidate will accept the offer. Resumption date in the letter is 16th August 2010

Now I rest my case. I think you have been able to convince me beyond reasonable doubt. The doubting Thomas in me has been ejected. And applying some logic even makes your comment more convincing. With the 16th August date, it means they are giving a month period of notice which makes sense. I mean by the 16th of this month, the last person should have received his/her letter.
The question now is how many days does it take the courier company to deliver letter within Nigeria? Do they count weekend as part of the days?
Can you still confirm the 200 numbers of selected candidates?
Once again, I must confess you are da bomb. It will be the most positive thing if we can meet at the induction. Like someone told me, if the earlier rumoured venue of the induction turn out to be real then it will be all fun. Good Luck bro…..

How sure are you of this dispatch not for some already selected candidates?

My friend got appiontment as Management Assistant II, that was what was indicated in the letter.The guy has been with us in the struggle from 1ST test,2nd test & interview. He applied for financial analyst

I believe by Mon,Tue & latest Wed just as T-Cann said earlier, we all will know waz up by the grace of GOD. And for your information NNPC,CBN & NDIC does not indicates pay package on appiontment letters coz they are sure when u reach there, u wont hav any regret concerning that

For your friend to have gotten MA-II, maybe he's not a chartered accountant or maybe he doesn't have a post graduate qualification, am just assuming o, I think anybody with M.sc/ACA may get mgt assistant 1, ask your friend weda he has ACA or M.sc, cos I know for sure that NDIC is crazy about one having either of those two,esp ICAN, even more when he applied for fin analyst.
anyhow sha,like Patty said, for anybody that happen not to be on the list(including myself),am sure God is planning our script for a ending that will not be disappointing, so much that when we take stock after some yrs, we will laugh and say "missing the NDIC train wasn't a career death sentence afterall"
