NDIC -INTERVIEW AND PAY(What to expect and get?)

Good day, am really impressed with the posts of encouragements from some of our friends in the house,
These are trying times when even the encourager needs some encouragements himself!
Thank God for his faithfulness, like one of the encouraging posts says...it is when you are near the end of the storm that it looks like you may not survive it, but that's the time to stick to it and never quit! I really got encouraged!
Please, thread members not having a job currently shd intensify their applications to other places of choice now as the recession is clearing off the economy, I can authoritatively. Tell you that employment have started mostly underground for now, go and drop your CVs unsolicitedly with them, you might be lucky.

To God be the glory, I just got another job far better than my current one with better working conditions last week, am so happy! God pulled my legs out of the net of the wicked one and place me on a better rock pending NDIC!
The story of my old job is a long one, you will have an idea if you have worked for a one-man biz where you are not appreciated rather constantly rubbished and made to look as if you are a dullard, no good working conditions,salary payment by the 15th of the next month when even there's is sufficient millions on the account&you have laboured eveyday of the month, closing 8-10pm most times, etc.
I guess God knows I have had enough and I may not be happy b4 NDIC comes, so he repositioned me while I wait and praise him for my NDIC!

I perceive another round of test for NDIC i hear text messeges have started flowing, Anyone else with same rumours? They said lobbyist took over the first list ..........Its Well My People......We must Triumph!!! As long as God is for us all!!! We Must Keep Hope Alive!! Peeps i submitted My CV for this job (2007) the very first time on a Hospital Bed with a broken Leg torn scalp and bruised nose.....Not sure if i will live or not. I was so suprised when FITC sent me a text message today inviting me for the NDIC screening test taking place on saturday 26 june 2010, @ govt. secondary school tudun wada, wuse zone 4 Abuja, by 12 noon. I sat for the test about a year ago, and i hav'nt heard anything from them till today.Is this the second test for those that passed the first test? Please i need info.Thanks.

FITC on behalf of NDIC hav started sending sms yesterday inviting people for a fresh screening test scheduled to hold on Sat 26th june. The fact is that NDIC intends to do another recruitment but this time around is not advertised and is mostly lobbyist candidates which they'v been collecting all this while. I know it is taking place in abj & lag but not sure if it will take place in another state. Abj venue is Tudun Wada sec sch wuse zone 4. I suspect someting fishy but I'll get back to this forum when I get the full details. NDIC nawawoo......

My brother congrats for ur job. On the issue of txt mesages by FITC, is not a rumour coz I know 3 people that were invited & even saw the sms from one of them. The truth is that as u said earlier this is not funny at all & im also confused thats why I said I'll get the whole details & report back to the house later today. And all of us will then analyse the situation

If we can ascertain if anyone who did the interview also got same sms-then we need to be afraid,but if none got it,then it could be a case of filling quotas for states or it might even be the yearly recruitment thing i.e for next year's positions

I just called my source.i was told that NDIC and FCC have agreed to increase the number of slots to 450plus this is allow them input their candidates.because of this some states didnt have enough ppl in the interview.so if ur from those states congrats.if u are from the southwest and north,sorry o.

Hello House, I wrote the first test, second test and I was part of the interview; I received the following text:

"U are invited 2 attend the upcoming NDIC screening Test on Sat, June 26, 2010 @ FITC
4, Park Lane, Apapa 12noon. Check ur email 4 details. 07041804259, 07045098616"

the text was sent to me around 04:44:22 pm yesterday (June 14, 2010). But until now I have not receive the email version of the invitation.

On this lastest devt, a friend called me and asked me on what the Ndic test looks like. I engaged him and he told me he hasn't done the test bedore and that his CV was submitted for him by his uncle to NDIC HQ in Abuja.
hopefully, till now, we ve not gotten one person that has followed us to d interview level getting the new text msg again. Let's be vigilant o!

as Everyone does, I contacted about 5 friends of NDIC- none of them was invited for the said screening test and none of them heard about any invitee apart from me. I begin to believe that I am mistakenly invited by their data system. Because I am using 2 phone lines (MTN & GLO). I was invited for the first 2 tests with my GLO but MTN was used for the interview invitation.
This invitation was sent to me Via my GLO. What do you think I should do? Should ignore the invitation and keep waiting? Pls advice me

No matter what justification NDIC has for conducting another test, I am totally convinced that the exercise lack due process and transparency. I am not against supplementary exercise, but the primary one should have at least been completed.
About, 1089 candidates were interviewed in the initial exercise, no single soul has been employed yet they are conducting another test!

If they want to increase the number to 450, the 1089 figure is still not exhaustible.

We have heard the rumours of non-availability of FCC Chairman; that NDIC only have acting MD; that they are working on furniture and other rubbish…. But, now there is the truth of another round of test (at least it is no rumours)….

Though, we are not giving up but we are surely embarrassed….

Nigeria!i was telling u guys about merit,then no merit and the many manipulations of our govt.they called guys that didnt do the any test.they called guys that did the first test that didnt pass,they called guys who did all the stages but maybe didnt do so well at the interview.what do all this guys have in common

certainly, the recruitment exercise is faulty somewhere but the above comment sounds attacking in the ears of people like my person. I was in the interview room and I have done pretty well because all my answers were appealing to my interviewers, that was confirmed right-away. I strongly suggest that u should formally withdraw the last part of your comment i.e “maybe didnt do so well at the interview” for the sake of friendship. I wish you the best in your life.

House i am dumbfounded about the whole issue. Everything seems to be going the wrong way. I was at NDIC to see the HR people but i was denied entry, i have to go back and pray to my God to remove anything concerning NDIC in my system.

the guy in my office confessed that somebody asissted him because he did not do well in the interview may be that was why he is now being considered under the special list of 150

RECENT UPDATE........
Since morning iv been busy trying to gather complete details of this issue from various sources. I spoke to a source at NDIC Hq,FITC office and I personally met with my usual source and what they all confirmed to me is that this exercise is a fresh one but is like a supplimentary.The list was handed over to FITC by NDIC so even FITC can not have answers to our many questions.The list majorly is a compilation of names of candidates submitted by lobbyist. My usual source confirmed to me that the first one that was concluded have 200 candidates and the supplimentary about to be conducted is to add another 100 candidates. The truth is that iv lost faith in the exercise in which a supplimentary exercise is conducted without the initial one being concluded. He concluded by saying that any candidate that participated in the interview & was part of those that recieve this current invitation means that he or she did not pass the interview & a lobbysit gave his name or he is given a second chance to be part of the supplimentary. I lost my argument with clubone05 because even me now believe this whole recruitment is a lobbyist affair. May God help us.....

Let me add to this on going debate, by stating in all honesty, that i wrote the test last year to the best of my ability, i felt i should have been called for the next stage but i was not.Before God and man , i do not know anyone at FITC or NDIC.I had already written off and forgotten about the whole thing untill yesterday,when out of nowhere the text came. My fellow colleagues, whether you are connected or not, whatsoever you do,no matter the outcome good or bad, the universe is always on schedule,and all is as God wills it to be.

It is now confirmed that the upcoming test has nothing with the previous exercise. But I want the house to note that I know nobody in FITC and NDIC. Maybe I am given a second chance

Lol...remember when i said the lobbying at NDIC was at fever pitch,remember i said the lobbyist were among but they were all keeping num.the fact is NDIC messed up,they should have conclude one first b4 starting another one.i knew this rubbish was going to happen.pls let us note that not very body that were called for this test are lobbyist.i was told some others were called because of slots per state.if ur not a lobbyist and ur having this test,pls go and jack well.because u could have been called just to make the numbers.so read and pray well o.lobbyist una no go talk now.
