watching this whole drama unfold.
I think theres something about NDIC...even though i have a very good job,
i have tried fruitlessly to take d thots of NDIC off my mind-but its just impossible.
But from they various feelers, i think we are almost there.

me, i dont have any pot bellied politician to plead my own cause.and this is where men believe in merit rather than nepotism.i pray for u guys and none here will be disappointed.

pls dont kill urself over that list.if the job is urs, u wil have it. if not even when u get in something will happen that will frustrate u out. so just keep praying

i was at NDIC HQ this morning and one HR staff told me in confidence as i insisted to really know what's the problem that part of the problem is that they dont have a substansive MD yet. If that could be true which i doubt seriously then it means that what @dbest opined could be tenable. Because FCC has no such powers to sit on the list ad infinitum.

Let me make some things clear to u. The first list that was sent earlier was for candidates on merit, the MGT added somes names of lobbyist & resent it to FCC. The acting MD u r talking about has been on board immediately the fomer MD concluded his tenure in Nov 2009 as he was the ED(CS) then. U can now see that he has been overseeing the entire process right frm the second test that took place in Jan 2010.

As I posted earlier when NDIC submitted the final list to FCC, they initially hav to sort out some issues that hav to do with slots.And after that they expected FCC to release the list immediately but to their suprise FCC says their Chairman was not around & they can't take a decision without him but he's expected at the office this week. This is the most credible info u can hav
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmn......and the drama continues..........

@ Fusco, I must admit you are one of the peoples whose info I have always relied upon without much curiosity but what I am still not been able to agree with is the fact that the same FCC chairman that was not around to take decision on NDIC took the same decision on CBN. Of course we can’t argue that the CBN supplementary recruitment is earlier than NDIC….that is just my worry.....Quote:

I know you have always furnished the house with the most of authoritative info. But this is not the first time we have heard the word SOON and it doesn’t seem to be an attractive word any longer. We want much more specific and authoritative dates. I know you are more than equal to that task…

Haven't got much to add except, waiting anxiously myself as anyone of u here.
My very first post on here as well as hence my greeting in d beginning.
My little contribution and further to Fusco previous post, I was driving a few hours ago n i realived the car infront of me carried a number plate FCC, it was a Honda Jeep (crisp) n as an NDIC hopeful my instinct went into over drive (thinking to my self those buggers holding thins up - lol), anyway coincidentally the FCC car pulled up opposite my office and i waited to see who it was.........wat do u know - it was the FCC boss (he came out of the car and entered the building while his driver waited. Now I recognised him cos he was on the interview panel @ kano where i was interviewed.
Good news is we now know the FCC Boss is NOW BACK (am using the word 'BOSS' as am not sure if he is the same person as chairman, whose absence supposedly is holding things up).
So guys stay tuned, we may get some activity afterall @ FCC!

Candidates who were interviewed @ kano may want to help clarify on whether or not the FCC rep on the panel is indeed the Chairman or not - tnx n sorry for a lengthy but unloaded post!

@dbest..... As per my earlier comment immediately after the board meeting of 13th May, I said the mgt explained to the board members(when asked about sending notifications) that they submitted the final list to FCC but they r dragging feet over slot issue. And after another board meeting of 26th May, the board members were told that FCC hav not release the list coz their boss was'nt around. This shows that If not for the initial issue of slot, the list will probably be out frm FCC coz their boss may also be around by then & may be that was when CBN got their clearance(since it was a supplimentary list & probably has no issues). This is an insider info

1-I begin by saying that I saw the list of about 130 candidates that was approved by the board & FCC(merit list) which was sorted according to states with each having 4 except 6 States having only 2.
2- I said average of 1st test,2nd test & interview was used(talking about the list I saw)
3-I then said that some slots were reserved for lobbyist coz the total to be recruited is about 150.
4- I maintained that the merit list will stand but ofcourse their will be additions of lobbyist names(but without removing or substituting a name frm the merit list)
5-I posted earlier that my source at NDIC office informed me that HR were seen holding a meeting on considering increase on the total number to be rucruited(probably that was when they added the lobbyist names).

I may be wrong but i have a feeling many posting and non-posting(observers) members of our thread know somethings some of us dont know but who knows, due to some factors beyond their control, they cant devulge,...borrowing a leaf from one of our esteemed member, NOBODY CAN TRACE YOU HERE AND YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO LOOSE, otherwise, you have accolades and admiration to benefit from the rest of us.

CBN first interview ws held on Nov 09 d result ws out on Feb 2010. Suppl interview held on 18 March 2010 and result ws out on May 2010.

I have been reading ur posts on daily basis about this Ndic issue and i have never commented on it cos i was waiting for the admin to approve my registration on this site.
I know a person reliably who is close to the overall boss of NDIC and i asked him about the issue he informed me that the list will be made known to the successful on the 9th june 2010. I am also waiting for the list.Guys i can tell you for sure the list is not on merit for iam politically highly connected. Wish u all the best guys. I am currently out of the country but still interested in ur post. My apologies to the house for not responding to much of the issues been discussed so far. I promise to make it up to you guys by hinting u guys of any recent information from my side.
@Samdan20..... I wish to welcome u to this NDIC forum & pls try and update the house on any recent info available frm ur source. But the fact that u r highly connected & ur name included doesn't imply that merit was not used.If u hav been reading our post as u claimed, u'll understand that we at no time rule out the inclusion of lobbyist in the exercise

NDIC hav been moving about saying that there will be another rucruitment immediately after this current one.And this really help them to suck pressure on this particular one frm strong lobbyist coz they'v been collecting names of candidates frm them & piling them up(by promising them a place in the next exercise. The truth is that there wiil be another rucruitment(frm reliable source) but only God knows when

@lawal, if nobody included my name, God Almighty has done so cos my father and mother is praying for me, my spiritual heads in the church are praying too plus my own praying and fasting. Cant u see that i,m covered.
@everybody, the rigours we went through in this NDIC selection process, i mean the 2 tests, JAMB questions pattern and even the thousands of naira given to us on the interview date wil be ultra vires, null and void and invitation of mediocrity and quacks into the service if there is no good number of merit. But thank God NDIC has record of transparency.
