Business Development Manager: Ref:BDM/01/12 Qualifications: · B. Sc./HND in Marketing or related field with at least 5 years managerial experience in Banking-preferably microfinance. Knowledge of computer is compulsory.
Competencies: · Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market · Clarify goals and reach agreement maintaining the interests of all parties · Proactively develop and improve products and services · Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues · Understand clients' needs · Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients
Tasks: · Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually · Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams · Coordinate with sponsors concerning size, standards, conditions and timing of research · Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions · Maintain the Business Development databases · Support marketing activities, including trade/ scientific shows, mailings, etc. ·
Head Internal Control: Ref: HIC/02/12 Qualifications: · B. Sc. /HND in Accounting with at least 5 years experience in Auditing in a Banking environment-preferably microfinance. ICAN is an added advantage. Knowledge of computer is compulsory.
Competencies: · Identify potential areas of risk management. · Implement control and governance frameworks and processes,. · Ensure enforcement of the policies across the bank. · Undertake financial and operational audits, produce reports and support business initiatives without compromising standards of Internal Control. · Identify areas of control improvement and efficiency, including compliance with policies and legal and contractual requirements. ·
Head Loan Monitoring: Ref: HLM/03/12 Qualifications: · B. Sc. /HND in Accounting, Economics or other related courses with Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field at any banking institution -preferably microfinance. ICAN is an added advantage. Knowledge of computer is compulsory.
Competencies: Well versed with the pre-disbursement and post-disbursement monitoring formalities and models of encumbrances, relevant laws, rules and regulations governing Credit Administration. ·
Head Debt Recovery: Ref: HDR/04/12 Qualifications: · LLB in Law (must have graduated from the law school) with Minimum 3 years experience in relevant job function. Knowledge of computer is compulsory.
Competencies: Well versed with the legal procedures, formalities, models and relevant laws, rules and regulations governing debt recovery. · Debt Recovery Officers: Ref: DRO/05/12 Qualifications: · LLB in Law (must have graduated from the law school) with Minimum 1 years NYSC experience in relevant job function. Knowledge of computer is compulsory. ·
Human Resource Officers: Ref: HRO/05/12 Qualifications: · ND in any social science courses with Minimum 1 years experience in relevant job function. Knowledge of computer is compulsory. ·
Relationship Managers: Ref: RM/06/12 Qualifications: · ND in any social science course with Minimum 1 year experience in relevant job function. Knowledge of computer is compulsory.
Competencies: Ability to: · Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners and customers · Up-sell new windows to existing clients on established performance goals (quota) · Source, develop and analyze customer needs to establish a customer-intimate business environment, propose and implement solutions. · Head Credit: Ref: HC/07/12 Qualifications: · B. Sc. /HND in Accounting, Economics or other related courses with Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field at any banking institution -preferably microfinance. Knowledge of computer is compulsory.
Competencies: · Responsible for the review and approval of credit proposals of the Bank and to maintain a good balance between returns and risks exposure · Lead a team of credit approvers to ensure high standard credit quality of the portfolio. · Engage the development, implementation, review and monitoring of various credit programs. · Review and develop the Bank's credit approval policies and guidelines as well as participate in ad hoc projects of investigative or trouble-shooting nature on specific customer portfolio. ·
Head of Operations: Ref: HOP/058/12 Qualifications: · A first degree in Business administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting or any other Social Sciences. · Minimum of 5 years experience in banking
Competencies: The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of banking operations; overseeing branch operations, establishment and management of the customer care platform. ·
Head of Risk: Ref: HOR/09/12 Qualifications: · A first degree in Business administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting or any other Social Sciences. · Minimum of 5 years experience in banking
Competencies: Proactively providing risk management advice across the bank, proactively identifying emerging risks and advising the Management and Board on appropriate risk management options; ·
Head of IT: Ref: HIT/10/12 Qualifications: · A first degree in Computer Science. · Minimum of 2 years experience in banking Competencies:
- Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the the Bank’s IT system.
- Implements network security.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the bank's IT network and equipment
· Customer Service Officers: Ref: HIT/10/12 Qualifications: · ND in Banking and Finance or other relevant courses. · Minimum of 2 years experience in banking Competencies: The succesfull candidate is expected to take excellent care of bank’s client and customers and have good response to customer complaints and a strong sence of customer retention techniques.
