Introduction

Servers are important assets of all IT-driven organisations. The Windows Server/Enterprise administrator is expected to be charge of implementing and managing some of the most important technology in your organization—the servers. You would use extensive monitoring and profiling tools to manage the network and tune systems so they perform at optimal levels. There are different levels of expertise in Windows Server 2008 Technologies, which ever level you belong, this training is designed to raise your bar.

Monitor network infrastructures, Configure Web services, Configure network applications, Plan server operating system

2. Intermediate

1. Configure and maintain Active Director, Monitor server operating systems, Install and maintain hardware
2. Configure server operating system services, Configure networks

Managing Exchange Servers; IIS, FTP, SMTP, etc
Enforcing Network Security using tools such as ACL, DACL, Firewall, IPSec, PKI, MBSA, etc.
Remote Support Applications and Techniques (e.g. VPN, Terminal Services)
Network Architecture and Group Policy Management
Domain Controllers: RODC, Server Cores, Trusts, Replication and Sites,
Deploying Software via Group Policy, Configuring Backup and Recovery
Managing Network Infrastructure: DHCP,DNS, Files Services, Gathering Network Data.
