Job Summary :
Develop, in liaison with PCI, high quality and cost effective marketing, advertising and promotional
strategies that meet corporate goals and are in line with the annual business plan.
Implement in a cost-effective and timely manner the company’s strategic objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare the Annual marketing and consumer plan.
• Regularly monitor volume and share growth against the plan and recommend necessary revisions/solutions
• Monitor competitor’s activities including dealer, consumer trends, new launches and recommend appropriate and innovative marketing solutions to be undertaken when/where necessary
• Plan brand operations while maintaining strict control on budget and expenditures.
• Formulate, discuss and finalize with general managers/regional heads of sales a company-wide brand awareness policy.
• Determine the need, objectives and required actions for consumer promotions and programs.
• Develop strategies to ensure effective and measurable in-store execution of promotional items such as coolers, in-store signs, etc
• Liaise with PCI and agree on the annual research plan
• Ensure market research is up-to-date and analyze all the necessary data including distribution, total market share by flavor, etc
• Communicate research data and findings to the NSDM and regional heads of sales
• Undertake other research briefs as necessary (pricing effects, perceptions, etc) and recommend necessary action when/where needed
• Ensure expeditious communication of research data to management and maintain costs of obtaining research within budget
• Ensure that annual business objectives of key managers are aligned with the company’s business goals.
• Improve organizational capability by regularly providing coaching, team building support, motivation and training.
• Identify high potential employees and provide them with the proper career development to succeed and to meet the changing needs of the business.
• Build an effective team based environment and motivate employees to optimize their performance by applying PMP
• Build and maintain good industrial relations with the work force
• Comply with company’s set standards and values
• Perform other duties as required by the job and/or management
