Market Research Associate

We are currently seeking a Market Research Associate for Huios-Global growing operations. This self-driven individual will lead agribusiness market research, development and outreach efforts, and participate in the planning and implementation of the project with the Project Team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of market research, database management, agriculture/agribusiness knowledge and experience, with excellent writing and communication skills as well as superior attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
•Create and manage database of the Agriculture/Agribusiness landscape in Nigeria: key stakeholders, key projects, leading organizations and businesses, focus crop/commodity value chains, strategic plans.
•Lead data gathering for field work activities in preparation for roll out of project and process adaptation.
•Manage the outreach process and data gathering for M&E and project assessment.
•Assist with content creation and provide regular update information for the Huios-Global website
•Support implementation activities for the Projects and Programmes.

Skills:
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing.
•Minimum of one year experience, ideally in the agriculture, development, NGO or education sectors.
•Fluency in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel with experience in database building and management.
•Excellent interpersonal skills: listening, written and verbal communication with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and remotely with team members at all levels of the organization is essential.
•Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and suggest solutions.
•Understanding of market research and field activities for data mining.
•Consistently high attention to detail and quality of work.
•Organized and self-motivated, able to set and follow priorities, manage multiple projects and deadlines.
