Logistics and Distribution Officer needed at Sundry Foods Limited

In a bid to leverage our operational excellence, as well as bring our quality service and product offerings to our ever growing customer base through unique service channels, we are seeking the seeking the services of a logistics and distribution officer. The successful candidate's responsibilities would include but would not be limited to the following:

• Maintain an efficient distribution system that ensures the availability of raw materials to all shops in good time and on demand, especially for outstations.
• Report critical stock positions of all units periodically, and ensure that inventory officers adopt standard stock keeping procedures in all units.
  
• Ensure that all vehicles in the distribution fleet meet up with statutory and legal requirements.
  
• Posting of transactions on pastel.
  
• Carry out market surveys periodically.

Requirements:

• HND or Bachelor's degree in any of the social sciences with a minimum of a second class lower qualification
• At least two (2) years relevant post degree work experience in logistics, warehousing and supply chain management preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Qualified and interested candidates must be residing in Port Harcourt and must be available for interviews at short notice.
