RECRUITMENT OF ADHOC STAFF FOR VOTER REGISTRATION EXERCISE

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to recruit categories of ad-hoc staff that will officiate in the forthcoming Voter Registration Exercise. Applications are being accepted from the following categories of applicants:

1. CATEGORY A - Serving NYSC Members

2. CATEGORY B1 - Students of Federal Tertiary Institutions (excluding first and final year students)

3. CATEGORY C - 2009 NYSC Members (Batch A, B and C) AND Federal Civil Servants in the States (GL 6-8)

An online databank has been created to accept applications. All interested applicants are requested to first register and then follow instructions to fill out the application form.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Access the INEC Adhoc Staff Databank

2. Click on REGISTER

3. VERIFY YOUR EMAIL

4. FILL OUT APPLICATION FORM (you will receive a unique ID number once completed)

5. PRINT YOUR APPLICATION FORM

6. SIGN and SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FORM:

Category A - submit to your NYSC Office

Category B1 & C - submit to your nearest STATE INEC OFFICE .

Please note that you will be required to provide your bank account sort code in order to successfully complete your registration.

APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UP UNTIL TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2010.

Pls what happens if u complete the online reg but do nt print n submitte the form? Ain't they to do an online shortlistmt?

Pls which one is bank account sort code? Somebody should help.

@Gr8me, those are the categories advertised in their website, but you can still log on to try your luck. best of luck

@Brax: Pls am filling the form but am confused avout the referees required: Civil servnts and Corp members. Since am a 2009 batch, which do i use. Urgent response pls

Men... their site is something else ohhhh...Bin trying for close to 2hrs to print the form but to no avail... what do i do? I dot have any printer at home and am in the cafe, they are about closing. I get a feeling that this INEC peeps will work half day 2mr and just like normal govt work, myt not resume b4 that 28th. Wetin i go do naw?

@ pangizee,dat was dsame problem I encountered yesterdaynite so I just kept draging d bank name from d top where it was til it was pasted there.I think d problem is 4rm d programer I did everytin n left d cafe by 10pm though was unable to submit bcos it keeps teln me stringe/binary may b trancuted...infact d mata tire me o bt I never give up I go stil make ov time 2day...

house, has anybody printed inec form? it is difficult for me.

@ prof Izu,u can go n submit on monday since d submision is at their security post.attach ur photocopies of crendential n I.D card.I'v submited mine 2day.gd luck...

4 those dat are stil findin it dificult 2 aply 4 INEC,d site is very free dis evenin.I just applied 4 som1 n printed d aplication in less than 10 mins.

Just did mine with ease. Submission is the issue cos deadline is Tue next week which is a public holiday

@Lola55,d submision is at d security post.go 2 their ofice on monday n som1 wil b there 2 recieve d applications. @homofemicus,it was a directive 4rm INEC dat d applications should b submited at d nearest ofices n here in lagos,they're colecting d applications...

@homofemicus,i submitted ma form n cv wit credentials n 2 passport fotograph in kososfe local govt area in ojota,lagos on friday 24th.
dey shd collect urs.make sure u go 2 d INEC office in ur local govt area.

check those 4 stages at are on-top of d form,after fill application form u c print application form,then click on print application form d I.D number wil appear.go through d form again b4 u print

You must not click on print form befor you could print, as soon as you see acknowledgement for successful completion of form which displays at the bottom of the page you can print out. For the recognition of the category c applicants, in Abia state it is acceptable. I took my own to state office at umuahia and it was accepted
