I no longer understand, but i feel the wait is due to the fact that they are yet to complete the LAKATABU project.
Let us remain hopeful. God is with us.

@Realmay Even if the LAKATABU is the case there's nothing wrong with them let us know what's on ground ... this is just unfair. They can conduct the interview or what ever the next stage is and then let us know the date our services will be needed.

@Eeyore... I applied for Sales position and also participated in d 2nd test for sales. I believe all is well!!!

All is well, my brother.

I called the number that sent me the message. though i got an answer but the person was not too comfortable with me calling. she said "If you have sent your CV then, they will get back to you in due time". It was risky anyway but i just could not wait for the endless silence.

@Realmay Thanks for the effort, was going to do that incognito, thanks for going ahead!! I think. I will like to think then that your information about them wanting to complete the LAKATABU project is the most logical reason for the delay. It's a relief tho to know that they still have us in mind.

Realmay & god_speed, please send me the number as a private message. I lost my phone and the SMS message with it. Once I get the number, I will hassle the person till I get some info concerning this whole thing.

Ok, so I called the HR number and got the impression that the lady (Adeola) had been getting such calls lately. She was at pain to explain that she was only asked to send those text messages, and that as long as one was contacted after the 2nd test, they would definitely get back to the person when they are ready. According to her, they were still to invite anybody though (sales people, that is).
But I would suggest forumites should keep calling her relentlessly (I didn't use my main number sha). Alternatively, you could do a mail to [email protected]. He should be in the know.

Let's just keep our fingers crossed. Even those that passed NBC tests are also on the waiting list. I just think it is a general phenomenon for most of these multinationals.
