Service & Contracts Procurement Officer II

Reporting to: Procurement Manager

Purpose/Role:

  • Prepare bid packages, invitation to tender for all services and negotiates subcontract provisions

Key aims and objectives:

  • Strategically negotiate vendor bids / proposals and recommend Service / Purchase orders to the most suitable contractors and review purchase orders claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

Prime Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Negotiates unique subcontracts using knowledge that is based on technical understanding of the types of purchases to be made, market factors and internal requirements.
  • Prepares Commercial and Technical Bid Evaluation, review vendor bids / proposals, acceptability of items to specifications and agreements to company terms and conditions
  • Source, Select and maintains Suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest codes of ethics and conduct.
  • Review / Negotiates existing contract to implement purchase contracts that comply with company policy
  • Management and administration of subcontracts, ensuring compliance on supplier, cost, schedule, legal and performance aspects
  • Negotiates / Review of existing contract.
  • Ensures that the contractor delivers or renders best and quality service as agreed.

Other Duties:

  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

The Persons:

  • HND/BSc with minimum two years post NYSC working experience in similar roles especially in oil a gas sector
  • Good knowledge on procurement procedures / ethics.
  • Candidate must have eye for details, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel and related ERP packages

Cook

Purpose

  • To prepare & cook all food for daily feeding in the Shore Club

Key aims and objectives

  • Preparing & Cooking of food
  • Receiving food from Central Store
  • Portion control & Wastage control
  • Cleanliness of SC and surrounding area

Prime Responsibilities and Duties

  • Receiving the meat from Butcher & agreeing the weight/portions received
  • Preparing and cooking of food on a daily basis
  • Make sure that all leftover foods are properly cooled and stored
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene at all times and ensure that you clean as you go
  • Monitor kitchen cleaners and ensure that all daily kitchen cleaning tasks are carried out
  • Report any finding or defects to Catering Manager or Supervisor
  • Completing all relevant paper work on-time and submitting to management
  • You will report for duty on time as per daily shift roster
  • You are to be correctly dressed at all times. A clean set of whites to be worn daily. No jewelry or watches to be worn except plain band wedding rings
  • Liaise with ND staff to ensure the continued provision of the appropriate service.
  • You are responsible for the correct storing, defrosting, preparation and final storing of all cuts of meat
  • Monitors hygiene and food handling practices for compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Conducts periodical stock takes as necessary and ensures stock rotation
  • Enforces safety requirements and models safe behavior.
  • Communicates routinely with staff through meetings, on the job sessions, and other methods
  • Demonstrates team building and leadership skills
  • Attends and participates in training activities and attends meetings as required
  • Ensures security of departmental equipment and inventory

Quality Assurance/Regulatory Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the establishment and the supervision of all matters relating to quality, Standards, specification and documentation of all the manufacturing processes
  • Coordinating cGMP Compliance Issues and getting the factory ready for every inspection.
  • Developing new product formulation and old product reformulation.
  • Establishment of quality standards and approval of specifications and control methods for Raw materials, Packaging materials, in process and Finished products.
  • Responsible for the keeping and implementation of all SOP’s and making them available for reviews.
  • Responsible for the review of Manufacturing and packaging batch records .
  • Responsible for the safe keeping of all approved manufacturing and quality formulations, Procedures and Manuals and making them available when needed.
  • Narrow tolerances in the activities and excipients, as per specifications
  • Evaluation and approval of Manufacturing procedures
  • Release and rejections of all materials/products.
  • Evaluation and justification of product expiry date based on adequate stability tests.
  • Monitoring all production processes and reconciliation
  • Keeping of reference samples of Raw/Packaging materials and Finished goods
  • Responsible for the coordination of the quality control laboratories and functions.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies e.g. NAFDAC; SON etc

Education and Experience:

  • University graduate in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Microbiology.
  • Experience in FMCG a must
  • Strong connection with regulatory bodies (e.g. NAFDAC; SON; Min of Health; PCN etc)
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
