Job Description
- Maintain good relationship with existing customers and be local point of contact.
- Logistics and coordination of local and foreign employees.
- Logistics and coordination of tasks/Service jobs in Nigeria.
- Logistics and coordination of spare parts and storage.
- Assist in Visa / Immigration queries/processes.
- Assist in Customs queries/processes.
- Local Aftermarket support (Commercial) representative assistant for Kongsberg Maritime
- Key contact for our local Freight forwarder and KM Logistics organisation
- Assist General Manager in daily operation of Onne office
- Proper preparation and execution of work assigned
- Responsible for generation of quotations, Shipments, Work orders, and statistics
- Required to undertake ad-hoc duties which may be assigned from time to time
- Liaison between customers and main office on all aspects of support and operation of the systems.
Requirements and Qualification
- Education within professions within the field of Logistics.
- Knowledge of Nigerian Customs and Immigration rules and regulations would be an advantage.
- Relevant working experience in maritime industry with background in Logistics would be an advantage..
- Customer/Service minded attitude. You should have an outgoing personality and enjoy working for and with demanding customers.
- Possibility and willingness to travel (15-30 days expected during a year)
- Self-starter attitude and precise, you will be responsible coordination of personnel and spare parts in Nigeria.
- Port Harcourt resident or willing to relocate.
- At least 2-3 year of working experience in the related field is preferred.
- Must have excellent co-operative skills, good communication skills (Fluent verbally and written English), result-oriented and self-motivated
- Good skills in the Microsoft Office Software (Word, Exell, Power Point, Sharepoint)
- Offshore industry knowledge, experience in interacting with authorities, Import of goods and knowledge of Axapta and MS Visio will be an added advantage.
