Job Title: Account Officer

JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Prepare monthly income statement and reconciliation of accounts.
- Perform daily posting of accounts.
- Prepares month-end general ledger close journal entries and supporting reconciliations.
- Verify and posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
- Prepare invoices and processes invoice for payment and receipts.
- Follow up clients to ensure the settlement of outstanding accounts according to contract terms.
- Manage the preparation, distribution and reporting processes for payroll.
- Ensure the calculation of wages, overtime and deductions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Ensure that payments and government reports are disbursed accurately and on time.
Job Requirements
- Must possess an Ordinary National Diploma in
Accounting. - Must have a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Must have good numerate ability
- Must have excellent communications skills.
- Must have the ability to work under pressure.
- Must have excellent computer skills with practical knowledge of accounting soft wares such as excel, peach tree and quick book.
