Bro congrats, the training school is for five weeks, thereafter you resume in your branch or unit asap. You will wish to stay at d training school forever. Did my training Early this year. But it is not over yet. Pray your medicals is ok bcos i did my medicals wit some guys up till now...nothing for them o. In your best interest

what do you mean when you said it is not yet over and have you resumed in your unit or branch?
perkerray, what could possibly be the problem behind those guys not been employed...drugs or what? just curious
Not really, if you have diseases like TB i guess you may not be considered (not very sure). I have resumed work almost 7 months now. Some of my friends were call today to resume work by january though in the north. All the same welcome

@All, how was the test, what are we to expect from the test.
i did my medicals with zenith bank sometime in august here in lagos and since then they have not contacted me. what could be wrong and who in this forum know their criteria in calling people to training school after medicals. please any information will be highly appreciable ASAP.
Standecent..i really can not fathom why you havent been called till now...atleast, there ought to be a feedback mechanism in place to notify applicants of their status..Anyways, have you tried calling them? It'll really help
Have you also tried reaching applicants with whom you did d medicals or interview? Ask them if they've been granted employment. If they have, then, there should be a problem somewhere...
yeah i called them sometime in october and the lady that answered me said i should hold on that they will get in touch with me whenever i am needed
clemayayra please do you know of anyone else that have stayed this long after medicals without hearing from them

I seeeee...probably there are no available vacancies for you guys at the moment..however one funny thing about zenith is that, they often call people at random, at their own convenience. Imagine a case where some persons sit for a test and 5 days later some where invited for interview, while others were invited 6 weeks later..same applies to interviews n medical tests..they call when they feel like doin so..atleast you werent told you wont be employed

@clemayara: I filled ilorin and lagos as my preferred location. Probably its going to b ilorin cos I did my medicals in ibadan after d whole test n interview in lagos. By god's grace they will get back to us very soon
@Saxorock i will advise you to call them again, because between august and now is a long period. Just like others have said, there is no crime callin them to know how far. I guess after January, you will need to do another medicals again.

is there any feed back mechanism from the human resourse office to notify sme1 if he/she is succesful after the medicals? Some of us are almost loosing hope after doin the medicals 4 mnths ago!
guys just relax, zenith bank will call u guys...Thats how the bank does. zenith call peeps based on the available space they have in the particular region u chose to work. Had a friend that did is medicals and was called 4months after it. Some peeps might even be called like a year after their medicals,lol. Just chill u will be called.Quote:

Guys, Any news from zenith? I called zenith hr today and was told the trainin is in batches.. I think some are to start 24th of this month.

@Clemaraya: for me, I'm not waiting for their rubbish training any more! If not for the bad economy how can recruiters toy with 1st class and 2:1 graduates! Its so sad.
