Job Description
StarTimes is a worldwide technology company that was established in 1988 in China. We are the pioneer and key player in the pay-tv business in China where we have acquired over seven (7) million subscribers.
We currently seek to employ a suitably qualified candidate to fill this vacancy in our Lagos office
Purpose:
The Human Resources Manager will be highly regarded with an excellence track record in his/ her current environment. The candidate must be strong, decisive, result oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and knowledge.
Job Duties:
Administer compensation, Benefits and Performance Management Systems, safety and recreational programs.
Identify staff vacancies, recruits, interview and select successful applicants
Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.
Provide current & prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity
Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
Serves as a link between the management and employee by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping to resolve work related problems.
Plan, supervise and coordinate work activities of subordinate and staff, relating to employment, compensation, labour relations and employee relations.
Leverage broader HR team resources to drive change in leadership & organizational development, staffing, compensation management & delivery, performance management, and workforce planning
Qualification/Skills:
Minimum of 8-10 years in Human Resources management, organizational development/change management, process improvement, compensation, staffing.
Excellence in client management model, mobilizing the best people & integrating the tools & process required to meet the needs of the business.
Business driven personality.
Strategic planning complex problem resolution and general management expertise.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, high level of interpersonal skills, integrity and solid team player, ability to influence senior management.
Establish and maintain collaborative partnership and provide thought leadership.
