Job Summary:
The Head of Business Development is the direct responsibility owner for delivery of the sales targets for the business. To this end, the position ensures the right perception of the company and its capabilities is established among Corporates within the target market and also ensures that the sales resources are deployed optimally against the highest potential identified and well defined revenue opportunities.
The Head of Business Development reports into the CEO.

Responsibilities:
Generate new leads, business relationships and negotiate new income through sales to meet set targets.
Support progress of qualified leads through to final selection using strategic top-to-top interactions based on high quality information.
Support up-selling of customers using top-to-top interactions based on relationships and high quality information. Regularly check to confirm effective deployment of sales operation against best opportunities. Weed out time wasters.
Commercial face of organization to the industry. Final reference point for resolution of all service related issues.
Chief Marketing Officer of the organization. Ensure clear understanding of Serve Consulting positioning especially among top level executives and decision makers.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Detailed knowledge of SAP solution delivery process.
Strong negotiation skills and solid commercial instinct.
Detailed understanding of competition delivery SWOT.
Can leverage SAP solution advantages.
Quick thinker and decision-maker.
Can engage top-level to address concerns.
Can motivate high level, high quality referrals.
Experience: 5-7.
Masters (MBA is added advantage).
Industry knowledge/experience:
Oil & Gas, Banking, Manufacturing, FMCG etc.
Software solutions salespersons who have sold to these industries are also welcome to apply.
User knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
