Job Description
By providing wireless operators with fully-managed tower sites on a leased basis, we deliver the highest levels of QOS and the vast coverage that our customers need to grow robust and efficient networks.
In a bid to continue our exceptional quality delivery, we seek to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced professional to fill this position

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the management of all company asset with respect to financials and accounting of same

Organisation Chart:
Chief Financial Officer
Head, Financial Reporting
Fixed Asset & Inventory Manager

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
Procurement Accountant
(B.Sc.)/HND in Accounting/Statistics or related discipline
Membership of ICAN/ANAN/ACCA

Knowledge, Experience and Skills required:
Organized and detail-minded
Good knowledge of Microsoft office application (particularly Excel)
Sound ability to analyze data
Good Accounting knowledge
3 - 5 years working experience

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage fixed asset register on SAGE
Account for all fixed asset, inventory and diesel stock
Assume role of the Asset maintainer for the Finance dept.
Ensure all assets in the company is in compliance with company asset procedure & policy
Prepare monthly completed sites & WIP sites cost report
Prepare monthly reconciled inventory status report showing quantity & value
Reconcile all fixed asset accounts and resolve variances monthly
Generate and post depreciation for all fixed asset
Coordinate quarterly inventory stock take to ensure adequate inventory control
Ensure timely and accurate month-end close and reporting
Work with external auditors at year-end to ensure fixed asset are properly accounted for

Key Result Areas:
Asset Tagging
Capex reporting/Financial reporting
Capex budget & deployment

Key Activities:
Ensure all new Capex assets added are tagged quarterly for proper assets recognition
Ensure accurate Capex report is prepared monthly within
7 days of the month-end deadline
Maintain effective management of Capex budget
Processing additions, disposals, depreciation and updating fixed asset register
Ensuring all the company’s assets are captured in the
ERP system monthly in line with company’s policy

Special Tasks:
Warehouse process & controls
Budgetary control Capex
ERP deployment
Ensure proper warehouse processes and controls are in place
Ensure Capex requisitions do not exceed budget value
A good ERP system in place
Prepare Capex and financial reports in line with IFRS standards
