Hello Guys,
Please if you have any idea about 1st Bank Grad Salary. Can you pls just drop your comments. I heard take home pay is like 120k(after confirmation) dt is afta removing tax n pension and a little over 100k b4 confirmation. Anybody wit any idea?

@y2kola, no i think u are wrong. after confirmation, the pay is 210,000 after deductions. First bank is the highest paying commercial bank in naija for now since last year. An average staff of fbn would fight to keep his job: no useless work pressure, job security, good pay, and all that

Diamond bank just increased their salary by 30percent den makes a confirmed staff goes home with 234k. Confirmed!!!

@fems12, is right abt diamond... making them the highest paying in naija but it is yet to be implemented but maybe nxt month.
Until ETB merged with Sterling Bank, ETB staff were the highest ever paid staff in Nigeria. But for now, diamond is the best paid, followed by GTB and Zenith
So First Bank is not even in the top 3 best paid for entry level. but i doubt if all of these banks can beat Fbn staff benefits, trainings and welfare.

I know a grad trainee in Zenith who is currently collecting a little above 140k per month. Just imagine what d take home would be after confirmation.

When it comes to Banking Jobs... Zenith graduate earns d Lowest salary. Their pay is 107K. Infact, Wema's pay is very inviting than Zenith.
If u are looking for a Bank with highest pay... Follow dis 1st five sequence and don't ague it.
First Bank----Citibank ---- Standard Charterred---- StanbicIBTC --- GTBank ... All other banks. I will kill to work with 1st bank or CitiBank.

@Holuberry, you are very very wrong about standard chartered. I've worked there, the pay is risic. For a graduate, the avg pay is 1.3mill p.a. Total package. So much so Kpmg did a survey and listed them the lowest paying bank in Nigeria. Plus they don't av E.T level, they use "Bands", with "Band10" the lowest, wch is where a grad falls into. The swag is der sha, bt doesn't translate to d money. Be informed.

@bravehots, r u sure abt ur info abt DB wage?? cos i fink diamond bank r tryin to cut deir cost n wages...from a reliable info, d bank made a hugh lost last yr..close to 16billion naira..u can google diamond bank financial statement of 2010/2011 n u will realised dey made more dan 16billion loss. M nt disputin d fact dat dey might wanna increase deir wages bt logically, i fink any organisation dat declares a loss wuld wanna cut deir expenses.

@bugo and @zeus ---I guess u are guys in a better position to feed the house with the recent pay package in diamondbank being trainees with them.I believe U must av being adviced on the renumeration in training school and whether or not the 30per cent proposed increase is true or a fuss ;and the month it is expected to take effect.I believe you are currently being trained to EARN THESE FIGURES with effect from january 2013-the last I heard of DB package is 2.796M(entry level before tax), monthly take home is 178k, accomodation 245k per year-@ fem should please tell us more about DB (30percent)as the result effect on the gross earning will bring fresh graduates in DB to cost the bank 3.65M p.a each(b4 tax) only OCEANIC was able to reach this height of renumeration in the industry ,bearly a year before Lamido Sanusi arrived the seen and declared the bank troubled.Waiting to here your comment!
