POSITION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: SALES
LOCATION: LAGOS

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking team contributions and their accomplishments
  • Propose an intuitive process for value expansion of existing products and services
  • Ensure the sale of products/services assigned to operations for implementation is duly addressed
  • Network with other businesspeople. Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry
  • Partner with marketing department to ensure already serviced and prospective clients are constantly engaged with marketing information, proposals and newsletters on products and services
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Help to build business models around new commercial propositions
  • Manage acquired mandates on products and services

Educational Qualifications

  • A graduate of a reputable university with a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division in Business Administration or any related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years Sales experience
  • Applicant must have concluded NYSC
  • An experience in selling technology solutions is an added advantage
  • Applicant should not be more than 35 years of age
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft office packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Good knowledge of the ICT industry
