Job Description

Obaika Consulting mission is to provide individuals, corporates, governments and institutions who seek to generate wealth (for themselves and the indigenes ) in the African continent, through foreign direct investments the acumen to minimise risk whilst maximising business performance across a cross spectrum of opportunities spanning the extractive, productive and service sectors of the economy. We need a qualified candidate to fill this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage company books on daily basis and ensure that monthly financials are accurate and clearly understood.
Conduct bank reconciliations on timely basis.
Ensure timely submission of Management Accounts to the MD/CEO
Drive day-to-day cost-saving process and serve in advisory capacity to the MD/CEO on cost reduction and profit maximisation.
Prepare and ensure timely submission of company's budget.
Ensure that adequate internal controls are in place.
Must be able to co-ordinate and manage external audits of the company.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be ACA or ACCA qualified with at least five years post NYSC working experience in a finance or advertising outfit (finalists may be considered).
Must have an adequate experience in financial accounting and reasonable knowledge of Nigerian Tax administration.
Must be able to use Accounting softwares, specifically SAGE 50 /Peachtree or similar packages with no supervision.
Must possess effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must be good in Microsoft Office Suite Excel,Word, Outlook.
Must be able to multi-task.
