Executive Assistant to the Group Managing Directorin a firm in Lagos Full-timeIndustry ConsultingSpecialization Administration & Office Support, Others,Minimum Qualification MBA / MScRequired Experience 7 - 10 yearsSalary Range ₦6,000,000.00 to ₦6,000,000.00 per annumApplication Deadline 2012-07-17 Our Client, a dynamic and upward mobile Conglomerate covering finance, oil and gas, real estate, event management, financial education, Publishing, Knowledge Management, business process redesign, gold, marketing, stocks etc. is currently recruiting dynamic industry leaders to fill this positionJob Summary:To provide high level strategic and administrative assistance to the GMD, utilizing diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality.To work closely with the GMD in order to make the GMD’s day as efficient as possible.Also responsible for all Admin tasks around the GMD’s function, including the Management Team.Responsibilities:To provide comprehensive secretarial support and assistance to the Managing Director in the discharge of his duties.To ensure that the Group Managing Director’s decisions and instructions are properly carried out and communicated to the appropriate levels;Managing board processes – board papers and circulation of agendas, minutes, discussion papers, proposals.Schedules appointments on behalf of the Managing director and ensuring that his meetings are held and records kept accordingly.Prepare memos, letters, and miscellaneous correspondence on behalf of the Group Managing Director.Log and distribute incoming fax messages to the GMD promptly.Writes and edits letters, exercises judgement, acts decisively and maintains confidentiality.Uses broad knowledge of the company’s policies, and operations to proactively prioritize, plan and schedule activities with other executives, key personnel and outside business contacts.Receives and responds to sensitive correspondence Manages the calendar and email for the GMD. Maintains and updates files, takes down minutes of meetings when necessary.Provides guidance in completion of some routine activities.Co-ordinates conference and travel arrangements, prepares itineraries and expense reports, and accompanies GMD when requested.Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings.Acts as custodian of corporate documents and records.Directs preparation and filing of corporate legal documents with government agencies to conform to the status quo.Responsible for minute Taking.Responsible for filing any/all confidential documentation on behalf of the GMD.Responsible for making all travel arrangements on behalf of the GMD or and all other Senior staff members when necessary.Support other Senior Management staff with general administrative tasks as and when required.Qualifications and Requirements:A minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience in a similar position.Masters in Law and MBA BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION.Must be between 29-32 years old.An MBA or relevant post graduate degree/professional qualification will be an added advantage.High level of professional skill and knowledge in professional areas.Excellent organizational skills, tact and diplomacy.Ability to anticipate the GMD’s needs and take good initiative.Ability to handle confidential information on daily basis and maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters and display excellent judgement.Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.Project Execution/Management.Must be very confident.Must be an outgoing individual.Must be willing to travel.Must be willing to work long hours.High drive and interest in taking on new task.Strong business mindset and understanding.Strong analytical skills (Ability to analyse the industry and identify current trends and opportunities).Well organized.Good reporting and time management skills with persistence.Must be charismatic.High energy, integrity, and confidence.Remuneration:Starting N500,000 Per month + Car + comprehensive medical care + comprehensive Insurance + Housing and other fringe benefits.
