BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Description (Reports to the Managing Director)

1. Coordinate, manage and promote the swimwear and lingerie line within the country & the West African market
2. Establish and maintain good working relations with the distribution chain
3. Liaise with retailers and merchandise markets to coordinate marketing activities
4. Organise periodic photo-shoots, magazine events and fashion shows
5. Monitor market trends with retailers, buyers and directors

Qualifications & Experience

1. A graduate in Arts or related discipline with minimum of second class lower or its equivalent
2. Good experience in fashion/entertainment industry is an advantage

Required skills & competencies

1. Passion for and understanding of the fashion industry
2. Working knowledge of trends in the Nigerian fashion industry
3. Good networking skills
4. Excellent written & verbal communication skills
5. Good analytical skills
6. Must be computer literate
7. Must be creative, determined, persuasive & persistent
8. Must be business-oriented
