Ernst and young has started calling for test

@jediknerd did u have any idea of the nature of thier aptitude test. Pls enlighten us cos u seem to knw more about EY.

I applied after deadline with copies of all my credentials sent along. I got an invitation.

Well, the tests just started today and i reckon it would still be on till the end of the week and possible next. So it is not out of place for you to still expect your invite Dabaniru especially as your discipline is an apt background. I know people with unrelated disciplines, architecture and otherwise, who got invites. So except there was a hitch in your application, you should maintain the status quo "still waiting"

Aptitude tests are generally similar, verbal comprehension, numeric reasoning and often abstract/logical thingy(those diagrams)

What could be a "hitch" in the application?
I attached all the relevant documents, the subject was "APPLICATION FOR TAX ASSOCIATE (REF: 2010/02)

then I wrote a brief cover letter.

Any problem with that? ???

i applied after the advert has expired,i.e, after one wk and i got a mail to come to the aptitude test at yabatech by 10 am with a printout of the mail and a valid i.d. guess they are calling only those wit 2.1

i stay in yobe state. 20hrs to lagos. 60k flight to n fro. is it wotth it. besides i need to lie at work to be allowed to come. and if d gross pay is 2.2m wen u take out health pension and other deduction d take home is roughly 120k right? dats about wat they pay me here. so pls guy do u think its worth coming. i aplied audit senior

If you are currently employed at a place that clearly positions you in line with your career aims, then a move is unnecessary

guys can i go on thursday though was invited on wed. are they particular on date. and do they actually start at 10 am. i need these coz am banking on this strike and no flight delays to attend.

You should call the numbers on your invitation to confirm that you can reschedule your test.

The thing is with the strike scheduled for tomorrow, it is almost doubtful that the test would hold.

Guess that is the more reason one needs to call them dont you think? So kindly send me the number plsssss.

Wetin I don do somebody now...I keep applying and not getting invitation. Ernst and Young, NDLEA. Is there anybody like me out there? What shoild I do now?

The process is ludicrous. What top class firm(s) still conducts paper aptitude tests in 2000-and the future. Uggh!

please guys i was at the airport today and my flight to lagos was cancelled due to strike. those that went to the venue did the test hold?and what about us that the strike affected what do we do.

@all ernst n young is a 'supposed' professional firm.I c no reason y they re frustratin us here.Am at d venue nw.D plannin is very poor.About 1500 applicant came 4d test n the first 200 applicant 2write d test in d tiny hall hav nt started as at 12noon.My number is 1162.Wen then wud it get 2ma turn. ernst n young
