1. The results of DV lottery will be out from March.
2. Winners will NOT be sent mails, but will be required to check their names on the official website.
3. US govt will NEVER ask you to pay for Visa through Western Union to a UK address. You can only pay at designated GTbanks or at the Consulate office.
4. There was a disclaimer by the US embassy and it was in the newspapers. BE WARNED!!!!! And dont be deceived by your real name that was mentioned...........

Also you will never be ask to pay money to an individual not even in your home country..
Visa processing fee is usually pay at your home country and process there...

pls from 1 march use ur confirmation u received after u submitted ur form in last registration 2 check d status of ur form.dat info u receivd earlier is real scam be vigilant

my relations won the 2011 dvc,the above is never the procedure.this is a big scam.
note the following.

1 after notification letter for winning
2 2nd letter is sent to make changes if there were other things to include.
3 3rd letter requeting you to obtain passport and go for medical test at kamoras hospital vi lagos,before then appointment date at the embassy would have been given to you.

4 visa fee is paid in cash at the embassy on same date of interview.thought is around $800 per person or N 131,000.(non refundable)

5. if u are successful at the interview ,your passport is beeing collected and you will be asked to go to VF GLOBAL SERVICES LTD,LEKKI-EPE EXPRESS WAY(I.E) THAT IS LEKKI SCHEEM I 2ND ROUND ABOUT AFTER ONE WEEK TO COLLECT YOUR VISA. AT THAT PLACE YOU PAY N1250 PROCESSING FEE.

6 YOU WILL BE GIVEN 6 MONTHS TO TRAVEL ON WICH IF U DID NOT YOU WILL FORFIET THE DVC VISA.

This is a scam... Notice the empasis made on the payment of the VISA FEE, throughout the passage he was mention it,that is to tell u that all his interested in is to swindle you. A word is enough for the wise, be warned!
