All the argument about cut off is because there are far more applicants than jobs. There would have been no test at all if they needed 900 people and only 121 people applied.

@234GT: In d labour market, d supply of labour is ALWAYS more than its demand. The ratio is usually outrageously geometric! The result...stiff competition, seemingly unfair standards.

I remember reading an interview that Wale Adenuga of Papa Ajasco fame granted Saturday Punch. He said when he graduated from UNILAG, multinational companies were coming to chase them with jobs, even before their service. Trust me, no tests those days, not to talk of cut offs
