After wat i hav been passing through 4d past 4years wit insourcing, i didnt reali put much interested in d banking sector. However, a friend whose cousin works there convinced me n even submitted watever they submitted 4me. I got d sms 4d test invite dis afternoon. Now i need d help of the house wit answers pls:
1.Abeg, 4 those of u wit more info, is this job contract or core staff job 4me not to waste my time?
2. I hav seen some others talking abt interview. Pls help me with likely areas of their questions. And please, how long hav they kept u waitin?

pls, I jst wanted to ask if any ''Lagos test hopefull'' has been called, I gate crashed sometime around june under the harshest of weather conditions and were told to expect a call this month having submitted our CV at the training school. Incase there is anyone out there from lagos that has been called up pls let us know.Thanxs

@elbucho, its a graduate trainee position not on contract and the test format is exactly what @mychi wrote below & about how long we've bn waiting I'll say the recruiting process is an average of 9months for Lagos hopefuls and about 2months for peeps outside lag. @machini, there is no dress-code infact u can dress like terryG if u like, just ensure u're well prepared 4d test and be very fast coz u av abt 50mins for all sections.

Good morninng house. Pls som1 shud advice me. A friend who's a staff of DB and who knws ibe been jobhunting, called me last wk to tell me that DB was recruiting but that it was in-hoise not open. He then asked for my details like full name, age, course of study, quualificationand class of degree, phone number etc and afterwards he told me he has submitted my details and that I shud prepare for a written test that will take place in ow on d 222nd and that I wud receive an sms to that effect.
Now the test is next tomoro but I am yet to get the sms till now. I had hoped to get it earlier so that I can travel down to ow since I am in lagost the moment. I had called him yday and he said I shud relax that they maybe doing the invitation in batches, that he'll confirm and revert but he's yet to. I called back twice but he didn't take my call. I've since ceased calling so that It won't be as if I'm pestering him. I de vex say I don use gmat kill myself since last wkhoping to write wwll in d test and here am I still waiting for d test invite sms. Make una advise me abeg.

@VICOBERESI, i got my test invite 21st Aug 2 av de test 23rd Aug. Expct it 2day. And if u ar adventurous, u can go2 owerri where de test wil hold wit or without de invite. I knw of ppl who were assured of gettin deir test invite& eventualy got it,bt it wz @de venue of de test. So,if dey hd stayd bck @home,it wld av bin too late 2embark on de journey 2de venue.gdluck.

Thanks Mk1001. The call i got was asking if I would be available for TS in Abuja next week. I asked if its possible to have it in Lag but was told that there are people already waiting for Lag TS and is not possible for me to join them. Lag peeps have been waiting for long for TS.
