hi. i want to start by saying i really appreciate the spirit of union in this thread. its obvious we all want each to succeed and we will in Jesus Name. the thread has given me so much info that i have enuf confidence to scale through in the interview. now to answer jumokes question, i wrote my test on the 1st of July and my interview has been scheduled 4 the 16th of this month, that thurs this week.

@bravehost, axeman, etal, pls when u got ur congratulatory sms on 1st interview, did dey indicate dat u wil be contacted 4 2nd interview soon or dey jst say they'll contact u soonest as is my case? Am askin 2 knw if dere ar differences in de languages used cos a friend wit DB in benin is suggestin dere ''mite'' nt be a 2nd interview. I doubt his opinion. Pls respond.

@emystone.. My first and second interview was on same day cos my centre is eastern region..
@bravehost, is ur congratulatory sms similar wit ours abov? And frm wat u jst said, do u mean after ur interview, u were called 4 medical test?
@emystone. Let me clear you on owerri case cos it differs with lagos.
After the first interview, if you were successful, you would be told to wait for the second to be done that same day. That is in owerri.
Yes the congratulatory message is same.
Just relax and dont be tenses.

But de lady dat verified our credentials said 2 many who didnt com wit deir original credentials 2com wit it on nxt invitation or face denial. Its all gud, with or without 2nd interview..but I remember the guy dt verified our credentials also said d same thing..dt all original documents should be provided at the next stage.
@emy and malvina the main place theyy need the originals is when they are creating ur personal files at the bank. All the other stages are just to reduce wastage of resources.

@October2011, success is urz. @obitee, u dnt zv 2 wait too close 2 ur tym cos dey dnt realy base it on dat tym. Once u get dere on tym, u jst write ur name on a list & u'll be called irrespectiv of de tym scheduled 4 ur interview. Success 2 U all. @sureboya, remain positiv. If u can reach de center 2 gt 1st hand info, i'll supot de move. But i knw its nt somtin dat afects u alone, so be expectant.

@patokonji, according 2 debopopson, dey sent 2 som guyz he met durin de 2nd interview dat dey cnt proceed any 4da. But dat wz @ de 2nd interview. I guess it applies 2 de 1st interview level as well.

@emy10stone- i see pple discussing final interview thingzzz and 2nd interview thingzzz....but really wats the difference... You still have an interview to go. However, the GMD interview is after training school...Also if you re unsuccessful you will know via sms same period pple receive their congratulatory message.
@all- i see medicals coming for 2nd interview peeps after the Ramadan....i dont know if you see it too

@all who did their interview on the 9th,I think its a general thing..as holot'o people who did in both panels haven't been contactd,I guess its notn2 worry bout..but by next weekend if I haven't been contactd,I'll def go dre cos right now am really busy wt my prof exams.@ sur+pak..am sure dy will still send it..some interview days r like ds,I guess,cos irrespective of if it was positive or negative..dy r meant2 send us a text
To peeps who are yet 2do their 1st interview. I think DB is more interested in the question "what do u know about diamondbank? and ofcouse "Tell me about yourself" which is always the first question. @iheany, it lasted for about 15mins
