aircraft operated by Dana airlins
plane carrying some 153
passengers and 6 CABIN CREWS has crashed into a
two-story building in a Lagos
suburb, killing all the passengers
on board.
The flight,9J-996, originating
from Abuja, was approaching the
Murtala Mohammed International
Airport in Lagos, with less than
four minutes to landing.
It is not known how many people
were killed on the ground.

The ill-fated Dana plane had been
under repair for several weeks
and the airline's station manager
protested its use but the Indian
mgt insisted it should fly. The
German stations are reporting
that the plane which just crashed
should never have taken off
becos of its write off state and
that its a wonder the plane even
made it to lagos!

now wot they can only do is point accusing fingers, while 153 intellectuals vanish in a split second because of d careless attitude of some.

Firstly, May God grant the famillies of the Air crash victims, the fortitude to bear this traumatic loss. Secondly, Nigeria should move past the era of investigation with no concrete action. Any Airline found wanting with cutting corners with standard adherence should be sanctioned appropriately so as to serve as deterent to other Airline Operators. So Sad but May God grant them eternal rest.
I am just so sad. This is so painful. And I am so afraid 2 travel by plane. May their souls rest in the bosom of the Lord Almighty. Amen. It is well.

What a sad news, I will not be surprise if my govt(Nigeria) does nothing about this sad event. It was simply an act of greed that ve led to the untimely home call of these my fellow nigerians. Knowing fully well that the plane was not in perfect shape why still was it boarded? God may you grant this country a lasting solution to our problems. Hmmm... 170 souls gone within a twinkle of an eye.
