Cheif Technology Officer

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the development of on-demand and custom software to take advantage of opportunities in the market place,
Set strategic and operational targets in line with the corporate objectives and cascade these strategies to the software team in order to optimize Company resources.
Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of the Company’s integrated software and other enterprise wide applications.
Coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure and services, in accordance with company procedures and work instructions in order to achieve efficiency and continuity of the business process.
Ensure that adequate security and technical support systems are put in place to safeguard the I C T infrastructure and company data.

Requirements/Qualification:

Chartered IT Professional, University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Significant experience in areas such as R&D, Quality Assurance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
Ability to effectively and directly manage local and international teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in strategic technology planning, execution, and policy development
Excellent commercial experience, encompassing general management and budget management
Excellent understanding of project management principles
Proven experience in planning, organization, and development
In-depth understanding of the Company’s goals and strategy
Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business challenges
In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to technology issues

Desired Technical Skills of the CTO:

Technical knowledge and understanding of system architectures
Knowledge in reverse-engineering is a plus
Technical knowledge in hypervisors and virtualized systems
Knowledge in legacy technologies to most recent technologies
High technical knowledge in computer HW and SW
Able to read and understand complex code
Experience of computer performance analysis
