Job Position: Business Unit Leader, Linear Hanger
Location: Port-Harcourt, Nigeria
Report to: Managing Director
Business Unit: Linear Hanger

Job Purpose

  • Assist with technical queries, quotes and tender preparations, routine sales, marketing and technical or related presentations for Linear Hanger within all assigned client accounts.
  • Promote introduction of new products within all assigned client accounts and assist with familiarization of Linear Hanger
    offerings.
  • Provide Linear Hanger integrated solutions that deliver incremental revenues for all assigned clients accounts.
  • Provide an understanding within the organization of assigned clients account performance and business potential by proper day to day management of such clients.

Responsibilities
Asset Management

  • To ensure utilization of stock and assets, have an understanding of what is available in the country, proactively inform customers on the status of their orders.

Linear Hanger Strategy

  • Support Linear Hanger in country strategy in line with regional product line strategy.
  • Monitor success or lack of strategies put in place.

Finance

  • Maximize financial performance in Linear Hanger through supporting tenders, identifying revenues opportunities, liaison with sales staff, local managers and client representatives.

Technical Support

  • Gather tactical, strategic and technical data on market place, industry and client accounts.
  • Gather technical needs information for future technology development.

Sales and Marketing

  • Assist in sales, marketing and presentations to both external client and inhouse staff.
  • Prepare generic and specified technical presentations
  • Gather tactical, strategic and technical data on market place, industry and client account.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to maximize Linear Hanger asset utilization and product sales for market share gain at optimum FOP within assigned client accounts.

Client Relations

  • Communicate regularly with clients, monitor and evaluate market information and provide appropriate feedback’s as required.
  • Utilize customer contacts to develop an awareness of the customers attitude to organization’s Linear Hanger products and levels of service.
  • Communicate this to all concerned as necessary.

Business Improvement

  • Identify potential improvements in business processes
  • Increase revenue levels and reduce/remove any barriers to business improvements.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as assigned to meet the business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and the capability and competence achieve these are available.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess a B.Sc degree. MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with a thorough understanding of mainstream technical issues regarding products services and linear hanger operations.
  • Knowledge of reading, reviewing and negotiating contracts-assessing financial consequences.
  • Good management skills, excellent sales attitude,team building qualities.
  • Be self-motivated, pro-active and have the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Offshore experience.
  • Good understanding financial reporting.
  • Financial literacy.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Willing to travel at short notice.
  • Leadership skills
  • PC literacy in Microsoft packages.

Additional Information

  • Must be willing to move between locations as required by customer or organization’s needs, job entails travel within the country.
