Job Purpose:
Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. Business development executives are account strategists. They identify, qualify and secure business opportunities by cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with current and potential clients. Business development managers work closely with other senior managers. They leverage manager-level relationships to develop targeted sales strategies that convey a customized approach to all business pursuits.
