Job Title: Finance Officer
The British Council is looking for suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the post of Finance Officer. This person must have the right to work in Nigeria.

Purpose of job:
To support the delivery of the financial and business processes and systems.
To contribute to the development of British council Nigeria as an innovative and high performing country operation. To model the values and principles of an integrated operation and to ensure that we are aligned with the British Council regional and global priorities.

Job Title: Regional Coordinator: Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships Plan (CSFP).
The British Council is looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the post of Regional Co-ordinator: Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships Plan (CSFP).

Purpose of job
The Regional Co-ordinator will ensure the consistent delivery of services to support the Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships Plan (CSFP) across the whole of the West Africa region. These services will include both pre-departure services as well as new services to support post-award alumni and monitoring and evaluation. This will involve managing/coordinating support in Commonwealth countries where we have British council offices and also facilitating support where we do not have an office in country. Job Title: IELTS Examiners
The British Council is looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team of IELTS Examiners.

Purpose of job
Examiners conduct one to one interviews with IELTS candidates to assess their spoken English according to set requirements. Examiners also assess written scripts produced by candidates under exam conditions. Examiners are recruited on a casual basis and are expected to examine at least ten sessions a year at regular intervals. Remuneration is paid per interview/script. Weekend working is usually required. IELTS examinations regularly take place in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Therefore, we are looking for examiners who live in, or within relatively easy reach of these cities. We may occasionally run examinations in other cities in Nigeria. Read more…
