Mediator, expect to spend approx an hour for your interview. The test at Chams, dunno the logistics of how that woulf be.
You can call BAT to find out if you can reschedule ur interview at a later/earlier time that same day; depending on when ur Chams test is anyways.

I call BAT,they said it cannot be rescheduled.
Called Dragnet,they said
124,000 applied
test invitation was sent to 12,500 people,that I should count myself lucky and I should be there.
On the interview,you said one hour but I thought from the trend the interview will be less than that.
Anyway I will have to forgo firstbank.

Thanks o my people! @ yeggy I got a text to choose dept n I had my first interview on Oct 8! I chose hr n Corp affairs! I got an email yesterday inviting me for d interview on Wednesday! I'm sure they will be sending out more invitations by mon just hang in there

I had my Interview 28th OCT @ Idowu Taylor, it was very brief; the lady who interviewed me told me 6000 pips applied and we 're 160 candidates remaining and cutting down continues..Wish u all d best...its all structured like tell me about a time....
Guys do you know if this interview is also being conducted in the uk as well or just for those in Nigeria. as i couldnt wait for the outcome of the 2nd stage interview. as couldnlt continue staying in lagos so had to come back to my base here in uk. but was thinking if i could continue the recruitment process here in uk with those doing in uk if there is any or dem go pay my flight cost come 9ja again ni ?
Axeman, I seriously doubt such an arrangement is possible. You may contact the H/R office to confirm this piece of information.
In a couple of days(or weeks) applicants successful at the second interview would start being contacted....

thanks. i did my test online but had to come to 9ja for the interviews and i spent at east 6weeks as was hoping all could be concluded then within the time frame but it isnt so. hence my coming back to uk after di 2nd stage as i cant wait for further weeks in 9ja as my work cant extend my leave and finances no dey 2 much. anyway tanks will try and call them to find out .

You should all see the first bank statistics... Over 100, 000 applications. Only about 12-13,000 were scheduled for testing. I reckon they're looking to employ 50 or tops 100.
@Jedi FBN takes as many as 200-300
And you can confrim those stats?
Information reaching me froom reliable source is that Interviews should be concluded by end of this week and if not latest by Monday so we should start hearing back from BAT by end of Next week.
Anyhow they want it, we are waiting.

with the look of things i dont even think we will be starting this year ooo. when we are successful reason is i looked at previous MT testimonies and they didnt start till around feb/march the following year cos the one is 2010 was actually done in 2009. dont you tink so ?
@axeman: sure, we can't resume this year, we will most likely resume February next year. Odds are that we will be invited to assessment centre mid November and it will be completed by Ð end of Nov after which we'll get results by mid December, proceed for Medicals by January and resume in Feb. This is jst ª common sense guess. The pay will be worth Ð stress and wait I presume.
After my interview i was told by the interviewers that i still have 2 more stages to go namely the assessment centre and the with the chosen dept. heads. That the first will be in a weeks time and the other later in the year. Also that the MT will start by march. The lady at Agdc said they need only 15

I learnt BAT Trainees get trained oversees, can someone confirm that this is true.
I really think there is some truth to that since their kind of work is somewhat specialized.

Hmmm...16-15 people..ok. From 160 shortlisted candidates. So one has to be in the top 10 per cent to get employed.
