I felt like posting somthing on this forum but dint have a job advert i discoverd, so i decided to post the amount some banks i know pay their full staffs at entry level, please no insults o, if my idea doesnt make sense you can skip this page.

Gtb- Training School 50k, duration 4months, Salary 209,000/month
UBA- Training School 60k, duration 6months, Salary 125,000/month
Diamond Bank- Salary 248,000/month

@all, i'm already 27yrs old, i have BSc in Econs, 2.1. I would have loved a career in banking. I have a 2 yr non-banking work experience. Do i still have a chance of entering into the banking industry considering these age limit consideration. Kind lend ur advise.

@ walearoy and d others philips oduoza i.e the gmd of uba sent us a mail on the increament of salaries taking effect frm d month ended jan 2013. So smile peeps if u are a fellow lion or lioness coz uba pay wud be competing with d likes of gtb and diamond bank. Pls guys if u knw fbn pay pls share.

Zenith used 2 be 108k frm day 1, dats were i served. But with dis dia contract level d pay dey abt 65 or 70k for OPS guys. I dnt tink dey wud be recruiting marketers for now because they intend converting all d full OPS staff to MKT while d contract guys replace dem. FBN stil dey ring bell sha!

Skyebank age is 24 at entry training is for 60days pay at training sch is 40k,before confirmation ur annual pay is 1.5m and after confirmation u earn 2.7m per annum hope this helps.I have a friend that works there.me too I don't mind a career in the banking industry.
The 40k in training sch is a monthly pay o.

@wale. That of diamond bank, is that 248K all one gets or alawi is separate? If u know, pls what is d pay like wit diamond per annum, alawi inclusive?

Confirmed info i saw live. UBA now pays 2.054 million b4 confirmatn and about 2.8 million after confirmatn. Per anum ni o, ko se per month o!

Diamond bank pays 80k for the first 6 months but training lasts for 8wks + 2wks bank attachment before interview with Alex Otti and then placement.

80k for training - itz included in the first 6 months that i mentioned earlier. Dunno their entry level age limit + my source says you are correct about the 248k after first 6 months. Just dunno if that is Gross or net pay sha.Quote:
