AGO Sales Representative (Onikan, Lagos)
Job Purpose:
· Handle AGO sales and support LPG marketing operations
· Assist in accomplishing business development activities and plans;
· Implement diesel sales and operational strategies and plans;
· Research and develop ways of continuous improvement
· Sourcing business opportunities and closing out deals
Responsibilities:
· Executing AGO sales with AGO peddler
- Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of good quality product
- Ensure timely and appropriate Maintenance of the truck
- Assist in ensuring appropriate logistic arrangement
- Facilitate and ensure timely delivery of all product supplies
- Developing methods of cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need.
- Actively using new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving.
- Ensure spending against budget
- Assure that negotiated agreements are effectively administered
- Ensuring that grievances and customer complaints are addressed in a timely fashion.
- Continually improve safety, maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.
- Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest operational and production management
· Depot liaison activities and relationship management and maximization including building new relationships and maintaining a strengthening existing ones.
· Achieving marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
· Sourcing for new sales channels and viable AGO trading prospects and customers
· Ensuring well executed documentation for AGO trading
- Executing field sales action plans.
- Identifying marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements;
- Sustaining rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
- Providing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
· Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Education:
· Minimum OND in Social Sciences, Arts, Engineering or Sciences
Work Experience:
· Minimum 2 years post NYSC work experience
· Relevant Experience in Depot Operations and AGO sales management is a definite advantage.
