African Steel Mills (ASM) Recruitment 2013 Graduate Trainee and Experienced African Steel Mills (ASM) is one of Nigeria's latest and most modern steel plant designed to produce a wide range of long products for building and construction industry. It is commissioning two new Steel Mills across Nigeria. Nearly 300 positions are now available in Ibadan (Oyo State), Osogbo (Osun State), Abuja Suleja ( Niger State). Metallurgy & Material Engineers (IBD/001) B.Tech/B.Eng/HND in Metallurgy and Material Engineering. Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 2.) Industrial & Production Engineers (IBD/002) B.Tech/B.Eng/HND in Industrial & Production Engineering. Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 3.) Electrical/Electronics Engineers (IBD/003) B.Tech/B.Eng/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Experience In Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 4.) Mechanical Engineers (IBD/004) B.Tech/B.Eng/HND in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 5.) Chemical Engineers (IBD/005) B.Tech/B.Eng/HND in Chemical Engineering. Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage 6.) Mechanical Fitters (IBD/006) OND/NABTEB/Trade Test Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 7.) Electrical Technicians (IBD/007) OND/NABTEB/Trade Test Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 8.) JCB Machine Operators (IBD/008) Trade Test or other relevant qualification. Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 9.) Excavator/Grapper Machine Operators (IBD/009) Trade Test or other relevant qualification. Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 10.) Accounts Officers (IBD/010) B.Sc/HND in Accounting. Knowledge of NAVISION accounting software will be an added advantage. 11.) Procurement Engineer (IBD/011) B.Tech/B.Eng/HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Must be between 30-35 years of age with minimum of 3 years experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. Location: Ibadan (Oyo State), Osogbo (Osun State) 1.) Admin Manager (IBD/001) To assist In development of administrative manual. Degree in any of the Social Sciences, must have excellent command of written and spoken English, managing and developing of staff of different nationalities and understanding of estate management in manufacturing organisation, must have excellent IT skills including Pivotal tables in particular, good experience in strategic management and planning, security management etc. 2.) Estate Officer (OS/002) To report to the Admin Manager (Nigeria) A graduate to manage estate management services for 2 VIP houses and 2 residential guest house facilities, 4 offices and business properties among others responsibilities. 3.) JCB Machine Ooerator (OS/003) 2 years experience - With Minimum Qualification of First School Leaving Cert. Experience in Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 4.) Senior Accounts Officer (IBD/004) Graduate B.Sc/HND with 2 years experience 5.) Environmental Officer (IBD/005) Any Graduate/Diploma in Environmental Studies with 5 years experience. Experience in Steel Industry will bean added advantage. 6.) Jnr Accountants (OS/006) B.Sc/HND with 0-2 years experience at the similar level. 7.) Cashier (IBD/007) B.Sc/HND with 2-5 years experience in similar level 8.) Chemist Spectro (OS/008) B.Sc. in chemistry with experience of 1-3 years in steel plant laboratory Location: Abuja 1.) PRO/HR Manager (ABJ/001) Graduate/MBA in Diploma in Mass Communication/HR Management with 8-10 years experience in similar role. 2.) Assistant Personnel Manager(ABJ/002) Graduate or MBA with 8-10 years’ experience in the similar role 3.) Security Officers (ABJ/003) Graduate with 5-10 years experience in related field. Preferably ex-serviceman 4.) Safety Officer (ABJ/004) Any Graduate (Diploma in Safety Management with 5 years experience. Experience In Steel Industry will be an added advantage. 5.) Time Keeper (ABJ/005) Graduate with 2-5 years experience In time keeping, maintenance of leave records. 6.) Drivers (ABJ/007) High School with 5.10 years’ experience in driving and must have valid driving license. Should possess knowledge of local geographical routes. 7.) Nurse (ABJ/008) High School or any degree in nursing with 5-10 years’ experience in nursing in any hospital. 8.) Security Guards (ABJ/009) High School with 5-10 years experience in related field. Ex-serviceman preferred. 9.) Crane Mill Operator (ABJ/010) High School with 8-10 years of experience. in operating EOT and/or mobile cranes. 10.) Main Pulpit Operators (ABJ/011) Interprets figures from a set sheet, and inputs new diameters, speeds, parameters and records the same via the computer keyboard.
