Africa London Nagasaki Scholarships For African Scientists 2014
Scholarship Description: The ALN scholarship fund is a source of support for African scientists wishing to undertake a Master’s degree related to the control of infectious diseases in Africa. Candidates should only apply to the university of their choice when they have been awarded a scholarship. The criteria on which selections will be based include past academic experience, evidence of a commitment to research as shown through work experience and publications, evidence of an aptitude for independent learning (which is especially important for candidates wishing to take the distance learning degree), a personal statement of why attending the chosen course will further their career, and referees’ reports.
Study Subject(s):Scholarships are provided to undertake a Master’s degree in a subject relevant to the control of infectious disease in Africa.
Course Level:Scholarships are available for pursuing masters degree level at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and Institute of Tropical Medicine, Nagasaki in UK and Japan.
