PAWA 774 seeks 1,200 able-bodied indigenes from each local government area for immediate training and subsequent employment in dominant clean energy systems, such as solar,wind, biomass, bio-fuels and hydropower. All local workers will be trained in the design, production and installation, operations and maintenance of thepower plants that will be resident within their community.
PAWA 774 is a private sector-led initiative to deploy 10 MW of clean, renewable energy power plants to each of the 774 local government areas in Nigeria. That’s 7,740 MW of clean,eco-friendly electricity built in clusters of 100 KW units and connected to a local smart micro-grid mesh providing adequate power to the nation, one community at a time.
The power plants being built under the PAWA 774 initiative will use renewable sources for their fuel. The plants will draw on the abundant supply of sunlight, wind, waste, plants and water bodies in local communities around Nigeria.

PAWA QUANTITATIVE GOALS:
Power: We aim to build and operate 10-megawatt renewable power plant in each LGA, for a minimum of 8 gigawatts, combined, in all 774 LGAs
Jobs: We train able-bodied Nigerians and create 1,200 clean energy jobs in each LGAs, i.e., nearly one million people throughout Nigeria
Economy: To further our goal of building sustainable local economies, we will create at least one community power company under our franchise initiative in each LGA. Each franchised company will integrate the community, ensuring the community has an equity stake in its respective company
Corporate Social Responsibility: We have created an “adoption model” which allows our CSR partners to provide direct funding to build the renewable power plant for a community of their choice. PAWA 774 aims to power 1,000 communities throughout Nigeria via our CSR partnerships.

· BSc or HND in Social Science discipline

· Experience in sales of power product andservices

· BSc/HND in Accounting or related discipline

· Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

· Professional qualification (ICAN or ACCA) willbe an added advantage

· Experience in customer services

· Membership of professional bodies in customercare (e.g. Customer Care Institute) will be an added advantage

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

i apply for this PAWA position but they havent sent me any confirmation mail as acknowledged on their website, did anyone experience similar thing ?

I have tried several times to apply for the customer service officer, but after filling the application form and ' clicking the submit' it tells me 'nodata source specified'. i dont know if any other person experienced the same problem or is it just me.
