Accounting Officer in a Construction/Mining Company
An accounting officer is immediately required by a construction/quarrying company in Lekki to process financial transactions and carry out accounting functions in the Finance Department. This role will also include accounting for materials purchases and use at the sites, product sales, product purchase orders, product loading and delivery, physical verification of product and material inventory, movement and storage. It will also oversight the production processes for efficiency, account for profitability, oversee all cash and bank transactions relating to product sales and material purchases, check authorization and control, and keep an eagle eye to arrest wastages and sharp practices.

A top degree in Accounting is required, significant progress towards ICAN qualification highly desirable as is some direct experience with working in site accounting, auditing or manufacturing accounting. Must be a firm, self starter, who can naturally function in any environment with minimal supervision. PC proficiency including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
